It was a good time…. A real pleasant moment…one must fix it and it was done …locked in a heart.. ..all gathered in the family-courtyard….they were shouting so loud as if forgotten announced rules of their parents...excited to have plenty of time to play… they were too young..their happy faces looked red because of non-stop-running movements ..innocence reflected through their actions..glittering eyes widened with gleam joys of childhood….
They were one…there was not anything to hide from each other …they were a family of course.. day by day they were told how to live in the society..who was good ..who was bad…with passage of time they learned every lesson of life….and when they absorbed all what given …they never gathered in the family-courtyard…no one saw them playing altogether…
One was shocked to observe a-surprise-change in the family….. but heavens are habitual to see it..quite common change in human society....so one should also follow the rule of nature...but one witnessed that once in ones life…so hard to accept.

yes nostalgia is depressing ..but sometimes it gives us nice topic to discuss in family gathering....
its common life, this just different phases in our growing old way...
i think that still most funny and beautful memories in the different growing phases in our life, so just enjoy it...
Longing for the past (childhood) is really depressing. But time, conditions, situations and circumstances change. Feeling for each other also not remain same. In our societies especially, it is not considered appropriate mixing of boys and girls and the restrictions of good and bad come in between as they grow.
I have an observation, two kids a boy and a girl of neighbouring family use to paly with each other. The girl's family shifted to another place. They happened to get together after some years. All the memories of the past recalled, but they could not bring back their childish playful memories to live. Just kept talking hesitatingly.
Yes, nostalgia is always depressing.
