A: I will sell this sword which can break through any shield.
B: I will sell this shield which can't be broken through by any sword.
C: Which man says the truth? The two are contradictory.

 Groundless Fear
A: I can't sleep well every night because I am worried.
B: What do you worry about?
A: I worry that the moon may fall onto my house while sleeping.
B: Oh, it's a groundless fear.

 Particle
A: I ate a chicken for dinner yesterday.
B: Really? It means that you ate a whole chicken. If you ate chicken meat, you must say I ate chicken or I ate a piece of chicken.

B: Animals are countable nouns, but when they are processed into food, they become uncountable nouns.

  • Roman,

  • To Kitty Thank you for your comment. Yes, it is a well-grounded fear.
