Technology That Empowers Us .

Technology can be both blessing and a curse. It empowers people and it also takes away things like job.It gives and it takes away.Today,I got to think about technology that empowers me as an individual.
Obviously , the internet is my first thought when thinking of technology that empowers me.Google in particular. With the internet at my figure tips and powerful Internet search engines like Google only a click of mouse away, I Can become an expert about nearly any any topic ,thus saving the day.
The one technology that empowers me, oddly enough is the same technology that I griped about yesterday! My smart phone.!
What amazes me,and I suppose empowers me as well,is how quickly information can be shared with anyone and anything in any Small corner of globe. This blog post, for example, can be read by someone sitting behind their computers at their home, someone flipping through their smart phone's in tutions,or someone walking down the street with their i Phones in hand.
Technology empowers us in different aspects
The fact of the matter is,there is not merely one technology that empowers me,but technology as collective whole that empowers me,as well as everyone else in the world I've got on my figure tips, and at  rate  we are going ,I have the distinctive feeling we're going to be whole lot more in the years to come

Oddly enough, the technology that makes the biggest difference to my day-to-day life is one which most people don’t think of as a technology, if they think about it at all. I refer, of course, to the coffee maker.

I am not, contrary to popular belief, a coffee addict. I prefer to think of myself as a coffee connoisseur. I can, and have, quit drinking coffee completely. When I was in university, I would quit from May through August, when I had no need to stay up late or rise early. I resumed when school started again and I knew I would be getting less sleep than I need. Now that I work full-time, as well as work on some small contracts on the side, I am once again not getting a sufficient amount of sleep, and so use coffee as a sleep alternative.

We treat technology as a family member—even if that is a little co-dependent. You can't blame us, though; it's certainly made aspects of our lives easier: We're no longer forced to send letters through the postal service, book vacations through travel agents, shop in stores, visit the library for research material, or wait for our photos to be developed. Thanks to technology, all of these activities can be performed either digitally or online.

Technology has made it easier for people to travel and connect with people from other cultures all over the world. Individuals who are geographically separated can visit each other and interact. Technology Has Changed the Way Students Study and Manage Their Budgets

Gone are the days when students used to spend hours reading lengthy monotonous chapters and cram in all the headings and details to reproduce on the exam day. Technology has taken over this traditional trend and the concepts of slides summarizing the long-running chapters are adopted by most of the educational institutes nowadays. Technological gadgets and mobile apps have facilitated students and teachers alike. Online libraries, virtual learning sites, Skype study sessions and many such options are prevalent.

Technology transformed time management.

Time is an indispensable asset that has no alternative. Businesses rely heavily on time management tools to meet deadlines and to create satisfied customers. The innumerable benefits that technology has leveraged are indisputable and have allowed us to remove communication barriers, increase productivity and exploit resources in a much more efficient manner than before.

I can just say wow ..You know the reason ..

  • Sometimes people blame technology, but it's not technology which should be blamed; we are to be blamed for the way we use it. In fact we can get the most out of technology if we know how to use it properly. I myself am officially in love with my smartphone. It helped me a lot with my English, so I am a technology fan.:)

  • Welcome Micheal, I hope you send me the friend request. I really want to become among your friends. Thanks!

  • Dara.

Wholeheartedly appreciate your opinions & You pretty vividly pinned down the demerits of Tech .

Undoubtedly,Tech can either mend us or deteriorate us  .It's a lot to do with the way we use it ,In the end of the day,We are the ones who can either benefit from it massively or then bear the brunt of using it inappropriately ..

    Hats off to you Dara..

  • Kiya haal hain Micheal? Listen to this, (Fatima, bring me some water to drink!) I said this to my daughter, I waited about ten minutes, then again, I repeated the same words and waited another ten minutes.  I was preparing for my for my next lecture. I was angry and went up to where she was sitting. "Fatima, Fatima." My daughter took her headphones and said, "what is it, daddy? I have been listening to the carpenters." What is this technology? I had to wait half an hour for my daughter to answer me and then to bring me the water. Maybe, I chose the dark side of it. Thanks for sharing Micheal. I hope to be one of your friends.
