Take the Time to say Hello

My EC is growing quickly. It was only a short time ago that we were a very small group. We introduced ourselves and began making friends easily. As this club grows, let's all remember to make new members feel welcome. In other words, take the time to say hello.

Each time you log in click on MyEC to see if there are any new members. You can introduce yourself in a variety of ways:

1) Leave a welcome message on a member's wall
2) Add the new member as your friend with a personal message
3) Leave a comment on a member's blog
4) Make a comment about another member's photo
5) Send a message to an online member with an invitation to the chatroom

Here are a few English expressions you can use:
Hello!
Hey there!
How are you?
Welcome to the network!
What's up?
I'm glad you've joined MyEC.
Let's practise together.
Tell me something about yourself.
Your page looks great.
I like your blog.

Hi Tarra and my all EC colleagues,

How are you all ? I hope all of you are in good health.
First of all, I would like to take the opportunity to thank to Tarra who set up the writing materilas into this EC. Although, she is busy with her kids but in her spare time ,she wants to assist those who are in need. She knows our needs in this century. Without the such kind person like Tarra, we could not meet each other in this communication. I feell like I am in the middle of millions of people who are in the same need and the same opinion. I am glad you and I have joined the EC. therefore let's practice to write together to enhance the value of our English knowledge. We also may need to invite other friends to join with us in this great EC. Tarra helps us, we help the others. the more we know and the more we help, more people will be in power on the English knowledge which then can gather together to change the situation to be a better one. Time to change !!! All the best !

Incorrect : So, I will run after they
Correct : So I will run after the way

Incorrect : I will see again next Monday
Correct : I will see you again next Monday.

Hallo MyEC!

I have just joined this EC but feel like I have been there million years ago. it seems like I can't get awy from this club. In my place, it is already 18.30hrs but I do not want to go home. I want to continue my writing. I don't know why but it is the fact. It is like when you just fall in love with smoeone. I do not mind at all because what I want is to improve my English writing skill. Of course, I want to be like Tarra athough it may not but I will try and try. We all know that if there is a will there is a way. So, I will run after they because I have a willing to learn and I want to have it with me wherever I go.

Although it is sad because the time rushed me to go, however, I will never give up with the English wrting. I will be there forever.

I will see again next Monday.

Hello, i glad i can join this club. i not really confidence to speak and write in english but i would try my best. And i hope you can understand what i am trying to say. i hope i can get friends from all over the word, not only to improve our language but also to share what's interesting in our culture, country etc. thanks myEC to give opportunity to make friends.

I'd like to say "Hi! You are welcome here!" to all people who have just joined us. It is the best English Club I know in the net. I have been its memeber for about 4 months and I am pleasantly surprised how friendly, helpful and purposeful its members and administration are. This Club is also very democratic and it is the right place for mastering English and sharing our ideas. Please, join our activities and you will not be disappointed. My best wishes to everyone and especially to Joseph who organized all that. Joseph, if I were asked what I want to change here, I would say: "Nothing" because it can't be better than it is.
