I was sick that day when we were standing face to face in a risky rainy day. Though my head was dizzy as hell and there was unstoppable ringing in my ears, I forced myself to smile. His expression was stiff for knowing my smile was fake. A farewell was a pain, yet nobody smile on this occasion, if there was any, it must be a bitter smile, sourer than the sourest lemon.

I started to shiver, almost all my body got wet as if my rain cloak had no use at all. Droplets of water covered my face,  those were hiding tears from my blured eyes. I wanted to finish this soon but at the same time didn't want to get separated from him. Our five meters distance would grow longer and longer after this. Again my brain accepted a lot of sick signals from entire my body.

“When will we start?” I tried to scream but my voice choked amid a heavy rainfall.

“Apparently someone is in hurry” that wasn’t all I could hear.

“Alright, this is our last opportunity. Think again! If you say no, I wont do this” He continued.

“No way back, we have gone too far!” I could sense my voice turned into a sobb.

It was a lightning strike that sighted in the end of horizon. Took no longer, a thunderclap deafened me as I covered my ears by both of my palms. In other side, that guy didn't get affected at all.

When my eyes met his, I knew we were through..

“Any last words?”

“We will meet again”

“We will meet again” He repeated.

Another lightning came, followed by thunderbolt, louder than first one. It made me close both my eyes and ears. When I opened them, I saw him no more. I knelt down, there was no more tears left on my eyes, it was over.

  • Hoho! I see i see
    Thank you
  •    First of all, I have prepared these grammatical points from several sites, not one.

Second, "I never trust one" means, before learning and/or using the grammatical points (which I search them to learn) of one site, I must see the mentioned points with other examples in other sites as well, to be sure that the grammatical points are true and they don't have any error. In fact internet is like a wall, every one can write anything on that, so first we must validate the information then use.

Hope you have got it.  :)

  • you never trust one but put it here, what do you mean?

  • In fact I didn't wrote them from my own, I found them in several Grammar sites (I never trust one), and typed them here except the examples and the first paragraph (which I copy-pasted them here). No need to put them in a blog, there are many sites that have mentioned these points. Hope it will be useful to you and others.
    Have fun, Mohammad
  • You are Welcome, Adeline Bala. Glad you enjoy it :)

  • @Mohammad, Hats off for you. that's very useful. you remind me with my teachers and proofreaders. when I gave them my writing, they would corrected it per sentence expanded with long explanation just like you did, so it took long time to revise and rewrite. sometimes i though this activity bothered them -Even thought they said ok- so, for now i just write what's on my head and ask only about sentence i have doubt on it, the explanation aren't long anymore but i my self still failed to find out my mistakes. I will be more careful next time. thank you

Ps: I appreciate your explanation but i suggest you to post that as blog. It would be more useful for others rather only leave it here, some people may not read my blog.

  • Very well written Peppo, Thanks for sharing.

  • Dear Peppo

You are welcome and also one of the friends in advanced English level (Sophia), reminded me about the topic of Causative verbs and their structures used in the sentences. Now I'm going to put some useful points here:

The English verbs let, make, have, get, and help are called causative verbs because they cause something else to happen. Their structures are mentioned in following:

    ______________________________________________________________________

1- Let : (Permit something to happen, allow someone do something).

Structure : Let + Person / Thing + Verb (base form).

    Examples :

1- I don’t let my kids watch violent movies.

2- Oops! I wasn’t paying attention while cooking, and I let the food burn.

    ______________________________________________________________________

2- Make : (Force or require someone to take an action, force someone to do something).

Structure : Make + Person + Verb (base form).

    Examples :

1- The teacher made the students work in groups.

2- Our boss made us work extra hours.

    ______________________________________________________________________

3- Have : (giving someone the responsibility to do something).

Structures :  Have + Person + Verb (base form).

Have + Thing + Past participle of Verb.

    Examples :

1- I’ll have my assistant call you to reschedule the appointment.

2- We’re having our house painted this weekend.

    ______________________________________________________________________

4- Get : (Convince/ encourage/ trick someone to do something).

Structure : Get + Person + To + Verb (base form).

    Example :

1- How can we get all the employees to arrive on time?

2- My husband hates housework; I can never get him to wash the dishes!

    ______________________________________________________________________

5- Help : (Assist someone in doing something).

Structure :  Help + Person + Verb (base form).

Help + Person + To + Verb (base form).

    Examples :

1- He helped me carry the boxes.

2- He helped me to carry the boxes.

    ______________________________________________________________________

So the right sentence is "It made me close both my eyes and ears." which I told you wrong and you have already corrected it. Also I would like to thank Sophia for the notification.

    cheers

  • Glad you enjoy this, Dear Setareh :D

your precious words meant a lot to me ^^

Thank you very much and Cheers!

  • @Onee, sure, don't tell anyone, lol xD

@Mohammad, i did fix two lines. for the third row, i had discussed it with my native friend, When my eyes met his (refer to his eyes), i forget to put comma here. and 'i knew our time had come' --> That could refer to any impending personal event, but it often refers to one's death. i used this because i thought separation is included impending personal event, but because you and others might don't get it i use this now 'i knew we were through'

hope you find it clear enough, thank you for your attention :)
