Roald Dahl was a novelist,short story writer,poet,screen writer,and figher pilot.
Dahl first established himself as a childrens writer in 1961,when he published the book JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH. three years later, Dahl published another big winner,CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY.Both books were eventually made into popular movies.
In addition to JAMES AND THE GIANT PEACH and CHARLIE AND THE CHOCOLATE FACTORY, Dalh's most popular kids' books include FANTASTIC FOX(1970),THE WITCHES(1983), and MATILDA(1988).
And my favourite was MATILDA.IT WAs A VERY INTERESTING BOOK+movie!!!

I have read Matilda when i was in elementary school. Very nice book for a children. I have also seen the movie. About the Charlie and the chocolate factory i didn't know it was a book. I have seen the movie and it was very good and i believe that it has to teach many things to a child. I think i should read the book :) I don't know if i do it but when i have children i will buy them nice books like these, that's for sure! Thanks for the info!
