Today 20th Football World Cup ended in Rio De Janeiro, Brasil. Hope you liked and enjoyed this month.
So, here short summary of World Cup:
World Cup Champions - GERMANY
World Cup Golden Ball Award (best player) - LIONEL MESSI (Argentina)
World Cup Golden Boot Award (top goal scorer) - JAMES RODRIGUEZ (Colombia)

FURUGH! (She predicted all 3 winners, but without indicating their final places. But her comment still makes impressive sense!)

Vietnamese, I agree that Neuer took Golden Glove.
But if he even didn't show anything fantastic, it is Germany's defense merit. But he did well against Algeria, and 2nd half of Brasil. Don't forget it:)
Like, Golden Ball for Messi, and Glove for Neuer:) 2 finalists, deal and draw.
But Ochoa, even Enyama (Nigerian keeper), impressed me more than Romero.
Obviously, after every match the question always is who won, I seldom hear someone ask who lost, or maybe it's just a joke or tease. I totally agree that Germany deserves the award, let's see the way they played in the field, we can see a team, not one or some individual members sparking. I have never been a Germany's fan but I even know each and every player in its team at the World Cup and they have great cooperation. They beat my favorite teams one by one. But I know why they won. Anyway, I am still proud of Argentina and root for Argentina no matter that they won or lost.
Messi had faded in the semi-final and the final, even he seemed to vanish in the field sometimes. But all what I say is he played not bad. For the golden ball award, I don't mind at all, he got it. With the the tight, well-organised German defence, Neuer didn't have to work too hard through each match. If mentioned Navas and Ochoa, we shouldn't set the name Romero aside. I am interested in the golden glove award than the golden ball. If Argentina had won, he could have had a big chance to get this award.
Asma, come here. Are you done crying yet?
Pavel, I wanted to say that noone team in the world show this stability in World Cups in Euros. That they reaching semi-finals for over 25 years, says that they have strong team always, not for 4-6 years like Spain (2008-2012) or France (1998-2000).
And finally this stabilty caused result as gold in 2014. So don't take it bad or luck. Germany deserves it:)
LaaLaa, I don't know how these awards are given. Why did Neuer recieved golden glow award? To my mind he didn't deserve it as he didn't show such brilliant skill as Navas or Ochoa. May be because of good German defence, but.. Besides I think it should have been removed from field in second part of the final game.
It's a pity we don't decide who is worthy to be awarded ))

I think for team wich intended and was near to get the main award in footbal world, 2nd and 3rd place is a weak consolation. Who recall the 2-nd and 3-rd team? The winner takes all! That's good they managed to break up such unlucky karma at last. Will it be a new German epoch in footbal after Spanish one? It'll be interesting to look ..

Yes, it was just a matter of chance, teams played as equals, although most people in Russia foretold Germany would win with a score at least 5-0! )) Germany couldn't win the 1-st place for about 15 years, and I was already convinced it's a their destiny to be always second.
I think German footbal a bit boring as they haven't so brilliant persons the same level as Messi or Ronaldo but obviously it was the best trained and the strongest team in the championship. As we say the strongest - wins.
