Remembering MH17

The office is in a somber mood today. Nobody seems to be in the mood to talk. We just stare at our computers. The radio is just playing slow songs. Everyone is in shock, again! We Malaysians are facing another sad tragedy. Our Malaysian flight is believed to be shot down by some party who is in conflict with each other and crashed in Ukraine. All 298 passengers and crews perished in the tragedy.

I just came back from an Iftar with my friends at roughly about 11.30 pm last night when I received various Wassup messages from office about the tragedy. I don't know what to say! I was shocked. I never thought after the tragedy of MH370 that we would be facing another sad tragedy in our aviation industry so soon. The wound of MH370 is still too fresh, too sad for us to endure.

People said life must goes on! I hope we Malaysians will stay strong and remain positive even though it is hard in this another tiring and trying time. May we know the answer soon. May the conflict to end soon so that there won't be another casualties in the bloodshed. No more tears should be shed by fathers, mothers, wives, husbands, friends and love ones. There should be no more senseless killings.

May all victims be rest in peace. May Allah bless them all. May Allah grant Malaysians the strength to face this tragedy and remain united.

  • Stranger, that little theory/news had been swirling around for some times among Malaysians. I was just surprised that the so-called mainstream medias from the West who always the first to come up with so much theories didn't seem to 'pick it up'. Most of the times, they don't care whether it's authentic or just a hoax, as long as it is 'a headline making news', but this one, it seems not worthy for them. It makes you wonder.
