Ebook Vs. Book

Because of technology stakeholders of schools rely on the e-books and even the learners. Aside from less clutters, less subscriptions , it is cheaper and can be read anywhere without bringing encyclopedia. Because of this students were not familiar with some printed "Parts of A Book". Let us review the parts of the book. This is a good way of teaching your kids in K2-K5 level the most common parts of the book. Book is also important, don't let your kids experience the joy of using a book, aside from lesser currents it is also a good way of reminiscing the old history book in the library. They can also familiarize the locations & quiet scenery inside the library.

Common Parts of a Book

1. Title Page - the full title of the book and it shows the authors and the name of publisher.

2. Copyright page - it contains the year when the book was published, publisher's information, and copyright notices.

3. Dedication- the authors expressions of gratitude and appreciation.

4. Introduction or Foreword- birds eye view or overall view of the subject matter of the book.

5. Preface- tells the author's aims in writing.

6. Table of Contents - list of chapters or units, lessons, titles of selections, or topics that appears in the body of book.

7. Text - the body which contains the informations or ideas that authors want to convey in the readers.

8. The Bibliography - a list of books or periodicals used in preparation of the book.

9. Index - an alphabetical list of topics discussed in the book and their pages. It is found in the latter part of the book.

10. Glossary - list of difficult words and their definitions.

11. Appendix - bears additional information and materials.

So if you are planning to make a printed textbook, or a printed books those parts must be presents to consider it is a book. If you are writing Research or Thesis be familiar of what kind of research is that correlated, experiential , scientific etc., Problem should be answered and the purpose, procedures, analysis , respondents is very important.

Whatever you want to do ebook or printed book we must be aware the consequences of each type and also the advantages. But for me I'll go with ebook so I can access anytime online, if there's a typhoon my books will not vanish and if there's a fire the papers won't be turn into ashes.
