It was at midnight in a hot summer. My cousins and I were talking about a book depicting a ghost. A picture of which was in the book that we always looked at it and discussed on it.-How did the photographer take that picture? We cannot see the ghosts. How did he see?-I do not know but, as you can see in this picture, he did it.-What kind of camera did he have?-I guess it was not a regular camera. Then, we all looked at the picture. The picture was very interesting for us. It was like a white sheet that narrows in the neck area with two gray holes on the face. Behind the ghost, the photographer in the black suit was shooting. This was the first questionable image of the ghost that I had ever seen in my life. The darkness of the room and the shade of the trees in front yard doubled the fear. The house was also big and the sound of the wind was flowing in the chimney saying hooo hooo hooo.As we were talking, I suddenly saw a white substance which came toward me. It looked like that horrible picture!-Oh, my God! This is a real ghost, I whispered. My heart was about to stop. I was not able to move. I only hid under my pillow. So did my cousins. Meanwhile, I heard a noise and saw a light which came from the bathroom. I remembered some old stories in which all ghosts and elves live in the bathrooms. Consequently, this intensified my fear.Shortly afterwards, my older cousin said: “Do not be ridiculous! It cannot be a real ghost!” Then, she got up to see what was going on. We all asked her to stay with us but, she refused and went out of the room.Once again, I heard the same noise and saw the light came from the bathroom. My cousin was in front of the bathroom looking for the source of the noise. Our eyes were opened wide with fear and we stared at her in order to know what would happen next.In the middle of the dark night, a loud laughing sound broke the silent. We were surprised and went out to see what happened. My cousin was laughing when she saw her father coming back from the bathroom. In fact, he wore a white pyjama and darkness of the room had hidden his face and feet. So, we could only see his white pyjama and we mistakenly thought he was a ghost!

  • Dear Suela,

I am so sorry to hear your sad story. Ohhhh, my lovely Suela. Why? Some time, parents do wrong things. Being afraid is a normal problem for all children. I remember I had it too. But, my father always explained to me. He always turned on the light and then said:" Look! the shades on the walls and curtains are gone when the light is on so when you are afraid of darkness, you should know that there is nothing here."

But, i remember when I was beaten with my father once. I was studying my lessons with him but I was playing with my pencil and did not pay attention to him. He told me first: "Pay attention on what I am saying. Are you with me?"
Once again, I did not pay attention and was playing with the pencil. Suddenly, he hit me at my hands and the tip of the pencil went in my hand. I still have the scar on my palm from that day. He became very sad after that. But, i think they all wanted to raise us very well.

    Kisses and hugsssss,
    Nafis

  • Dear Nafis,
Luckily, short time later we was moved to another house when my mother's factory started operations. And I have not seen her since at that time.
As you know, our country had spent longtime in the war and many people had died in poor condition. Most of them were intered in the hurried way without coffin or even to be burried immediately at the position where they died. Many families have not found their relative's graves after the war, they sent their notices to everywhere through radio and some families have depended on some telepathes for help and they hv found their relative's grave. Some telepathes told that they could talking with dead person. So I think that there are life after life.Hi hi hi

Nafis, I want to tell you more stories about ghost but my English is not enough good. I was not learned English at school because I have no time, I started studing E by myself at home 2 years ago and I hv no more chance to practise E with teachers, partners or foreigners so I think my E is not improving any more.Maybe some sentences which I've wrote are wrong, so pls help me correct it. And I know you come to Canada from other country where people don't speak E and you have to learn E in your new place. If can you pls share me some experiences of learning E.
Today, I've learned some words:familar;to give up ; to discourage
I've took some examples how to use these words:
-He is very familiar with that ghost
-I am not familiar with our new principal
My new year's resolution was to give up smoking and start living a healthier life.
    - There was many competitors have joined into local market that make him discourage.
The policeman tried to hard discourage us from visiting Mr. Obama at White House.
Pls, check the examples if have mistake and give me some more way to use these words.
    Thanks,
    Note:I like " I am nothing"
  • Dear Tuan,

In our holly book, it is written that ghosts are real and exist but I don't know if people can see it or not. I think everything is possible and some people as you said have some special power to see things that others can not see or experience. I believe what you told and I have to say that your story is intereting and thrilling. Thank you for sharing and thank you very much for reading my story. Wow!

Are you still seeing the woman? or not?
  • Dear Nafis,
It's very interesting story of ghost.Do you believe in ghosts?
When I was a child I had seen a ghost. At that time, we lived in a small house nearby a new factory where my mother worked.Onenight, when I was sleeping I felt something was touching on my face, after few seconds when I opened my eyes and quickly adjusted in dark, I saw a woman with her long hair and she stood beside me. At first I thought that was my old grandmother then I asked: " Who's that?" The woman said nothing. And suddenly she disapeared while I was staring at her. I was very surprised and frightened.I shout loudly and all the members in my family woke up. I told them about the ghost, they even wasn't believed me.Several weeks later, I had met her ( ghost)almost day by day and my family nearly had to woke up at night. My mother took me to the doctor and he gave some medicines but nothing changed then i often saw the ghost at ninght. My mother decided to meet the fortune-teller and she said that there was a woman died and her body was still under ground near my bedroom.......

  • No,dear Nafis.But I'll say hello to her.Thanks honey!
  • Dear Ruzan,

Really? Your story is much more interesting. When you say you saw, I can not to ignore it. I accept it certainly. I know they exist but I was not sure if we can see them or not.
Dear Ruzan, can your daughter read my blog? If so, I say hi to her.
  • At first,I wanna say that your story is very interesting. You know, I was feeling scary not for me but for you and for my daughter while reading this story.I think you know why.I remember when I was a child and I've been sick(I had a temperature) I had seen some ghost,ha,ha,ha.He or she(I'm not sure) helps me all the night to drop my temperature.:-)How do you like this?
  • I think you and your cousins were psychologically ready to experience fear since you talked about ghosts late at midnight.
It is very common in our country too to discuss such a subject when together and it is too late. Do not you know why?
