A noun is one of the most important words we use in speaking and writing. It refers to a person,place or thing. In this post, we will discuss the techniques of using noun. We will learn how to use noun in sentences for both speaking and writing.
First of all, the classification of noun:
01.Proper noun: you can identify a proper noun by checking the first letter of a word. If it is capitalized, we can identify it as a proper noun.
02.Common noun: It refers to the general places, groups,people or things. For example: School or college.
03.Concrete noun: Anyone can identify a concrete noun easily. It refers to the things that can be sensed by touch, taste,hearing and smell.
04.Abstract noun: Abstract noun isn't knowable by your sense. Ex: Love, kindness
05.Collective noun: It refers to a group as a unit. Example: Family,Army
06.Compound noun: It refers to the combination of two or more words. We can identify it by dividing a word into parts.
Example: Suntan Lotion.
Tips: A noun can belong to one group.
