No Comments

What if there are no comments on your blog?

Usually, after publishing a blog, you'll see some comments on it. It's not always so true, though.

If your blog's title isn't so catching or inviting, other members may not be so interested in reading it, let alone leave a comment on it, even though you've really written something interesting. So, be careful that the title of your blog should be charming enough.

Sometimes other members did read your blog, but only found that they did not really understand what you were talking about. They hesitated and left without adding any comment on your blog. So, you should make sure you can get through to them.

Or, you just published a blog and you failed to show any interest in comments. You just expressed your ideas or opinion, and you didn't care whether others found your blog fun or not - other members didn't see any point of leaving a comment on such a blog.

Maybe they did read your blog and found they wanted to say something about it, but they just somehow failed to leave a comment on what they just read. They may have run out of time or they may have wanted to add a wonderful comment - writing such a nice comment can be so time-consuming, though.

I advice you keep writing, no matter whether others have commented on your blog or not.

    Yes, you can say that again. So, we should try to write something which is so charming or interesting.

    @NLF

    I'm pleased you agree with me. Yes, just keep writing!

    @arif

    Yes, we should keep writing, no matter how many comments on or how many members have liked your blog.

    @Seeker

    Thanks. Keep it up!

    @Rhaani

    Yes, you'll make it to that great stage if you keep practising writing.

    @MARY

    Great comment! Yes, we should respond to every comment, or other members won't bother to comment on your blog again. By the way, writing a reply also means you're practising writing.

  • Another good thing is, if you get comments to your blog post, to reply these comments. I always do that and it's an habit that unfortunatelly I can't see very often here. And I think it's pretty basic and important if you want to let people know that you care about what they have to say... otherwise looks like you just care others to read your stuff and that's all.

    So I think this is even something to do out of politeness: just imagine you're giving a speech in real and after you finish, someone in the audience tells you a comment... and instead of reply (even if it's just for saying 'thanks') you just keep mute.... that wouldn't be too polite. And probably your audience would think that you're weird too :P

  • I myself believe that the blogger should not write with intention to have a lot comments. This is a kind of expectation and expectation is the root of self discouragement. In other words, those who ask other for courage seem like a bagger. In short, giver is better than taker. What it means is that we all should comment without expectation of reciprocity. By the way it depends on weak or strong personality. Thank for sharing
  • Elf get motivated and write more blogs especially in these remaining 10days of June.  Try to write at least one daily.

  • you are right, one should not stop writing.  either he/she get feedback from other member or not..

    should keep writing one day will must come we he/she get a full feedback from other members..  thanks.

  • You are right Expector one should keep writing whether there are comments or not.  But a true writer expects that his/her blog be read and commented.
