  • i was in Japan in 2009, long before current events. I feel despair when i think of what is happening right now in Japan. Japan is absolute unique country with wonderful, openhearted people. There was an orchestra festival in Gunma prefecture, and i had an honor to be invited there, and to play with the others. I even had chance to play solo, without orchestra or piano. That was great! In Tokyo we've stayed only for a few days, more time we spent in the suborb. I've seen many sights, early castles, nature preserves and national parks. It was a great pleasure for me to meet new people. I lived there in a wonderful family, that are still my good friends, we're keeping in touch. I adored the legend of a Daruma Doll, they told me - it's a doll made of papemashe with blank eyes. When you buy one you need to paint over the right eye of the doll and make a wish. When it comes true you burn the doll, that's the rule. I've brought these dolls to Tashkent and gave one to one of my good friends, one i have at home. With the painted over eye. Awaiting for my wish to come true!))
