Mother's Day

What is so special about Mother's Day? I guess it shows us the struggle of the woman who fights to make a good living for her family. It is an occasion to remind us of the fruit and the production that the woman gives and produces for us. It is a simple and a symbolic day for her. Some women are working hard in different fields; others are working under gunfire and the sounds of jet fighters, bombs, and rockets. That woman does not forget her role as a mother to our girls and boys. Some men die and leave more than ten or fifteen children for their wives. Those mothers are not desperate. Imagine this number of children and she is alone working, struggling and doing her best to lead them to the shore of safety among a rough sea with raging waves. They deserve a nice present on this day, don't you agree with me?

I do not know who created this day, but it is an honor for that brave mother. We do not celebrate Woman's Day in our country. Symposiums are held here and there and parties take place in some clubs or general public areas, because of this Memorial Day. Mother's Day is coming with the arrival of spring this time of this year, twenty eighteen. Greetings for those brave mothers who make history and they really deserve to be honored on this occasion of Mother's Day.

  • Pertam tam, saya harap akan menjadi teman anda, Beki, mungkin? That was indeed a nice poem for Mother's Day. I guess you love your mother a lot. Please, extend my greetings and good wishes to her. Tell her that I want to be one Beki's friends. If she agrees, add me at once. By the way, who was that man of your dream? I hope your mother likes him too. Thanks for that sentimental poem about your mother and about Mother's Day.

  • Bilkul sahih, Mishaikh sahib! Before reading your nice comment, I agreed with Warda. We should not forget our mother even after she dies. We make "duaa" supplication for her. Do you remember that man who told Prophet Mohammed, (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him about how he took care of his old helpless mother?  He even said that he carried her on his back for the journey of Pilgrimage. The answer was very simple from our Prophet, (PABOABUH), "she did everything to make you grow up and live, but was that the same wish in your heart?" Thanks, Mishaikh.

  • Shin akhbar Warda? Wa shin akhbar ashababeen? Bahi? I really agree with that. Everday is the mother's day. Thanks for your wise comment.

  • @dara
As Warda says, "Everyday is a mother's day" I fully agree with this statement. Ok if want to remember (rather even more remember) his/her mother on a certain day. Do not forget next day that the woman is their mother on that day/s too.

Thanks dara for the topic to ponder.

  • Oi, Dara,

It's a good idea to celebrate that day to honour and appreciate the pains and efforts of a mother.

  • Wochiron Tam! Sure, we need it. Some mothers fought a great deal for their children to get to universities. Thanks Tam for being the first one to comment on Mother's Day.
