Thank you Ruwan! it's really very helpful
I would like to add somthing here.
Some will wonder: why we need to use passive voice?
(why we need to make things more complex !!!)
So, we have to know that passive voice helps in two thing:
first, it helps to give importance to the object
ex: Rather than saying: Max won the presidency;
we say "The presidency was won by Max" here presidency is given more importance
Secondo, passive voice is very helpful when the doer is unknown.
"Taylor was asked to run" ===> it is unknown who asked Aldrin to run
