Little Things (including some idioms)

To kiss mom from no reason, to make breakfast for partner, to create some toy for kid or to donate old clothes to charity - these little things essentially reflect our character and prove we have some will to warm the cockles of someone's heart (idiom = to provide happiness, warm sb's heart).

To come up with the excuse like: "I am as poor as a church mouse" (idiom = I don´t have enough money, I am poor) is just something ridiculous since for instance to pluck the flower is the question of few seconds and won't cost you anything. In my opinion it is about ideas and creativity about some inner desire to make others happy and delighted because to watch sincere smiles people give you is inexpressible reward, something what warms your heart.

Life is about giving and taking and these who only take will sooner or later come to know that something is wrong since friends or relatives better stopped carring. If we all would realize that such little things can make somebody's day (idiom = to make somebody happy) or change their mood, that to express love like this isn't anything emberassing but just proof of our kindness and care and we shouldn´t forget about it, then life would be without any doubt more peaceful and enjoyable. From my point of view to spread the positivity, to do someone a good turn (to do someone favour, to help sb.) or to make people happy with all these little things, this all will be one day highly appreciated and by such actions we can make our life more meaningful.

So, dear friends, think long and hard (idiom = to think carefully about sth) if it is worth it to surprise people around you with some little thing because if this blog would inspire at least one of you, it would put a smile on my face (idiom = it would please me).

  • It is truly way of learning which speaks to me the most. If we talk about little things, it could be even humble hi, or some careful words (but not much of them). Yesterday I noticed, when my friend yelled on me from departing train: "Hope we will see on another meeting, see you!" It warmed my heart and said me, yeah, there is some good affection. How much it worth to put a smile on somebody's face and make day... ;) Thanks for the article!
