I went to a furniture exhibition with my sister this afternoon. I suddenly found that English is actually around me, although my country, Malaysia is not an English-speaking country.
It is because a lot of advertisements and brochures are written in English. Many products are described in English.
By noticing the English and recording it in my notebook, I can learn a lot of vivid and practical English, because businessmen usually try to use vivid description to bring the products to life. The English learnt in life is practical, because it is authentic real life English.
If this is the case in your country, don't waste these opportunities to learn English from your life?
However, remember to judge whether the English is trustworthy before memorizing them. You can judge it according to your experiences and writers. If the description and advertisements are written by large organizations or companies, you can make sure that they are correct.
