Just a dialog

She: "I wished I could fly."
He: "Humans can't fly."

She: " I know."
He: "And where would you fly to?"

She: "To where the wind blows me."
He: "What would you like to be?"

She: "A little white feather."
He: "A feather? "

She: "Yes, a feather."
He: "Why?"

She: " A feather is carried by the wind, and so I would fly with the wind."
He.: " What do you expect from your journey?"

She: "To be free. It would be difficult to catch me and to hold me tight. The journey would be an adventure."
He: "Do you want to tell me that you want to leave me?"

She: "Oh no my love. Be the wind that carries me!
He: "But I will not be a light breeze, always. Sometimes, I'll be the storm, too."

She: " I am aware of that, but I am sure if I need a rest, you will pause.
He: "What do you think how long our journey lasts?"

She: "As long as we love us. You will be the wind that carries me, and I will be the feather. As long as we determine the directions and the destinations together, nothing may happen to us.

  • Hello dona D.

Thanks for stopping by, reading, and commenting on my blog.

You got the message of my dialog very well. Being understood is the best appreciation we writers can get.

  • Intersting comparison of a relationship with its both sides wind and storm. The same happens in real life. We have great moments and difficult ones. And this is the life,s philosophy men and women try to go through the same journey together having different roles the first ones holding and giving strength to the seconds, but sometimes even hurting them. Anyway feathers look so fragile but never get destroyed by winds being them harsh enough. After the storm they are even stronger than before because calm wind gives them more love more security and they become inseparable.

    meaningful dialogue... like it
