It's My Nature!

A scorpion wants to pass across the river. But, He is unable to pass. So, he looks around and sees a little green frog near the river. The scorpion asks him to help. The frog thinks a little and says: “You are a scorpion and you may sting and kill me.” The scorpion denies it and says: “I can’t do it because if I do, I will die too because I cannot swim like you.” Once again, the frog becomes suspicious and says: “you may sting me when we are close to the road shoulder.” Then, scorpion emphasizes that he cannot do it because how he can come back. After some discussions, the frog finally decides to take him to the other side of the river. While the frog is in the middle of the river, he sees scorpion stings him. Why are you doing it?, says the frog. Don’t you know you kill yourself too? The scorpion says: I can’t help it because it’s my nature.

  • Dear Abdul,

Thanks a lot for reading the story and for the nice quote.

    Dear Ruzan,
As you said, these useless people should be kept away. We have a famous saying which emphasizes that " when you can not help poeple, at least do not harm."

    Kiss and hug,

  • Dear Nafis,
Thanks for this profound story. This story is true and we know that there are some people who will hurt us regardless they known that after that it will be bad for them. But,they can't do another way because it's their nature. As for me,I'm keeping myself far away from this kind of human beings. They are aweful.

  • Dear Suela,

Thank you very much for reading the story. But, I think you misunderstood me because this is not about me and I do not think of my friends. This story is a famous Indian story which i thought it is useful to share with my friends. I am not depressed at all and I am determined more than before. However, I really appreciate your attention. You are so kind and caring.

    Love,
    Nafis
