Is falling star is true?

I was standing in our balcony last night with my parents and the moon is so very cool and the wind produced a rhythm like a whistle and I feel so very happy because that time we drink ice tea and suddenly I saw something like a falling star, so I asked my father about the falling star because I thought that the star is bigger than earth and what happen for us if the star falling down on earth. My father answered and he said it was a comet. He didn't explain it to me what is comet but instead he told us a story about a witchy witch.

I have a question, is falling star is true?

  • Oi Mohammad,

The flaming trail we see in the sky is called "a falling star", but actually it is a cosmic body [bigger or smaller material in open space] that entered our platent's atmosphere and started burning due to increased temperture caused by air friction and it is called a meteor.

Stars are what we see at night in the sky. Some of them are burning celestial bodies like our sun, other visible celestial bodies are planets like our Earth reflecting the light of their sun.

Other visible bodies at night are distant galaxies composed of thousands if not millions of suns and cosmic gases, like The Milky Way Galaxy with our solar system.

  • Magandang hapun Mohammed Faisal B. Alip. Ako tignan kaibigan mo, posible? The comet is a kind of star. Stars are lamps for heaven and they are sent to drive away or burn  giants and devils who try to cross their limited borders.
