  • Arguments and fights are an inevitable part of relationships. Fighting isn’t a sign that things are wrong, nor is not fighting an indication that your relationship is perfect. However, if you don’t know how to argue properly, you do risk doing damage to the relationship. Debates inside "boyfriend and girlfriend" relationship are healthy but we need to know all the limitation in this stage of the relationship. I've read something about this topic and they posted rules in having a debate with you boyfriend /girlfriend...and i found it too hard to follow coz when you're too annoyed with your partner the tendency is you'll be having a hard time controlling your anger. These are the rules i've seen:

Rule 1 - keep your cool
    Rule 2 - know what you're saying
    Rule 3 - don't aim to wound
Rule 4 - stick to the real issue at hand
Rule 4 - never understimate the power of "I'm Sorry"

  • Dear Katey,

Every relationship being established by humankind has a kind of disagreement, and it is a natural fact. But it can’t be agreed with the “physical fights” we come across as a result of these disparities; disagreements are positive signs of a good relationship because it paves the way for close discussions on important issues. “Boyfriend-girlfriend quarrel” is a simple issue to be ignored because there are a lot of issues in the world to be considered deeply.

    Good Luck!

  • No, but the 'boyfriend-girlfriend quarrel' may be a subject of a debate.
