In that night

(In that night) is a famous Sudanese song. I wanted the members to feel those who get the blow in the tank. Getting the blow in the tank is very dangerous. it means explosion and it means the end of life for some. Someone loved a girl and someone else married her. Please enjoy reading

In that night, it was not easy for me

I could not forgive you or blame you

You took all the wounds and the smile

I came to congratulate you and shake hands

I extended my hands without any talk

Because I could not stand in front of you

I came back blocking my tears

In that night,

the people are sharing your joy

I felt I was a stranger there and you are a stranger in my world

I really felt the meaning of separation

I saw the tears behind the eyelashes

Suppressed by sorrow and loss

The trembling of that palm was saying goodbye

  • Many many thanks Marshaa! Thanks for your nice comment. Is it possible to be one of your friends?

  • We call it in our language, (hitting in the tank). As I explained above there, the tank is for the gas. without it the car or the vehicle, whatever cannot go. When someone hurts you that bad we say that proverb. Imagine that mod. Paula, his feet weren't strong enough to hold him standing there. At the same time, her hand was trembling to wave that goodbye sign. Thanks, mod. Paula for your encouraging comment.

  • Xie xie Olivia! I have sent the message to your inbox. Check it later. Yeah! when you discover that the person is still linked to you although he has already been taken away by someone else. Thanks, Olivia for your comment.

  • nice to read your very emotional post.

  • Very emotional writing Dara......to have loved and lost......is some of the worst pain there is.  Not only is it emotional but it is also physical.  What torture to stand and wish someone well that is taking your heart with them.  Many could not do it.  I could imagine every moment.......good job!!!

  • You are welcome, dear Dara.

By the way my hair is light-brown. :) I am not blonde. )))

  • Mutshakirim Darius, doaste khabam!  The song was composed from a real story. The man was in love with that woman. They were in deep love. Suddenly and out of nowhere, a rich man came and offered her family a big amount of money. They couldn't resist. They forced their daughter to marry the new comer. The first man came to blame her but he couldn't do it, instead, he convinced himself to congratulate her. I shall send you the video soon. Thanks Darius.

  • love is when other take away the feeling , the passion and the romance in a relationship and find out that u still care for that person

  • Thank you Dara, it's a very nice poem.

I tried for finding the song but I couldn't find it. I would be appreciated if you send the song.

At the first, it seems like a romantic poem an song for an Ex beloved. Yes, it is, but what if we think of it as a multilayer poem?

Let's think of what's done to the cultures. To a great nation ( or nations and ancient civilizations). Let's remember how the Glamor of Luxury pushed us to became Indifferent about the value of the treasures we had.

and now we in our Tuxedos with Cylinder hats looking like the clowns can see the same treasures in the hand of sellers....

  • Ya takosh Svetlana! Me too, I like happy endings. Who doesn't? I have been telling Falcon and some other members that love stories usually have dark endings. I know that blonde ladies are always sensitive and like happy endings. Thanks, Lana for your happy feelings about that poem.
