I think, now it's time to say how this site helps me to learn. I have been here more than 2 years. And, almost everyday I like to be here.
One day, I was chatting in another site. There a member came and gave the address of English club. He/ she told me that this site is very good so, I must see.
It took a bit more time to make an account here! In the very beginning, I became scared as it demanded many information. Moreover, I faced trouble to add the profile picture. Then one of my colleagues helped me. And, finally, I logged in.
How was my first day? Oh, It was not so good. Everybody was unknown. May be there were some rowdy members. They seemed not so sober. We sometimes face it till now. But, that situation did not linger. Finally, I was able to find a place for myself, and found some same-minded members, helpful members.
Now, let me say how do I feel now. Now I think, it is quite a helpful site. There are many resources to learn English language. There are many helpful members who are always ready to help others. I found blog section is so helpful to sharpen our writing skill. Though there are many things which I have not explored yet.
But, along with it, I have a problem. That is I am spending more time in the main chat room. So, I am trying my level best to stop peeping over there and happy to see I am able to fix it! But, chat room is also helpful. Because without that how could I get some helpful friends?
Recently, I suggested to people I know to come to this site and see how helpful it is. I know, you all feel the same. Happy learning!

Re corrections: These two sentences should be improved:
1. 'I being able to find a place for myself, and, I found'
2. 'I found blog section is too helpful to sharpen our writing skill.' - Note that 'too' is a tricky word. 'Too helpful' is different from 'so helpful'.
I am new here and I am agree what you written in the article, I also faced the problem that profile photo can't be upload and finally I done that on another computer.
Now I talk with EC users in the main room when I sign in my EC, and I will upload more photos to share my remember with all the friends here.

Good thing you signed in Afro and it shows how far you've come with your poems and blog posts! I have the same experience too though I am just a few months in but I feel I have gained a lot from this site. May you continue your great learning journey here with us. :)
