How did you spend 2010 New Year's holiday?

I had a great time during New Year's holiday. In the Eve of New Year, Yoko, my colleague, and I went to the Window of World in Shenzhen and enjoyed the shows in the evening until 12:00pm acounting the last five seconds "five, four, three, two, one" with five strokes, which was so exciting at that time because of 2010 coming soon.

This is me with "世界之窗". I like the fountain behind me so much and It's beautiful, isn't it?

This is Yoko, a adamant girl, had experienced a tough time when she was a child. Hope she will have a happy life in the future.

At the first day, we just stayed at home and had a splendid lunch and dinner then we watched movies we both liked.

At the second day, the weather was not good, it's very cold but we had booked the tickets traveling to Huizhou. In the morning, we arrived at a beach called "huichunwan" and boarded on a fisherman's boat from one bank to another one. The journey was great, just the wind was so strong that we could not enjoy it so much. In the afternoon, we enjoyed a hotspring for about three and half hours that's really cool. We liked it very much. In particular, we entered into a place 25RMB paying where there were many small fishes around some people in the water eating something from body's surface of people. The fish can live below the temperature of 45 degree celsius. I just didn't know what's the fish's name, who knows, pls tell me. Anyway, that feeling was so special, hehe.

At the next day, we had been to the "Westlake" located in the centre of the city and "Luohu mountain" located in a outlying place of Huizhou. In the afternoon, we arrived at home around six.

On 4th Jan, 2010, it's Yoko's birthday, also can say it's mine too, just the date of birth for me was in the next day, so we had a celebration together. We bought a birthday cake and then went to KTV enjoying singing. That was nice.

On the next two days, it's nothing special, but i also enjoyed it. Until 7th Jan, 2010, we got back to work.

Dear friends, how about your holiday?

  • Dear Tara and Anjana,

Thank you for coming here and sharing with yours.

    Have a nice time!
  • Great blog. I had my holidays in February going to my Grandmother's 100th birthday party and catching the first 5 days of the Olympic Games. It was an experience of a lifetime, though I wasn't feeling my best. I'm happy to have my own pillow back. :) There are some photos on my page of the Olympic city.
I hope many other members share their stories with you.
    Great writing!
    Tara
