  • Thanks Shadow, thanks for your comment. I hope you are fine.

  • Happy EASTER to you too. Nice to known about your beautiful tradition. Thanks for sharing with nice picture dear Rose.

  • Good idea, Luci ... it's only, I can do that immediately because I am a little busy because of Easter right now. I'm going to write more later.

It's a good place here to speak about our traditions.

  • Woooow!!! It is very interesting to me!!! I have never heard of Easter fire before... what about to post blogs about our Easter traditions including food? ;)
  • Luci, I forgot to mention:  The villages here in Germany have a tradion besides the normal ones.

The young people try to ignite the Easter fire of other villages before the official starts of ignite the fire in the evening before Easter Sunday. ... it's a kind of teasing.

So every single village has to guard his Easter fire.

  • Thanks dear Adaline Bala for your Easter greetings.

  • Dear Luci, thanks for your Easter greetings and wishes. Interesting tradition do you have.

You asked me about traditions here in Germany. We have so many different, it's depend on the region where we live. But some we have in common. Just for example:

    Easter fire

    Easter eggs

    Easter trees

    Easter fontains

The Easter fire symbolizes the sun. It is the center of our lives. Without the sun, no life is possible in our world. The sun was greeted with the Easter fire in spring. They were also seen as a cult to ensure fertility, growth and harvest.

An Easter egg is a colored egg, often painted or decorated with motifs; Usually a hard-boiled chicken egg, which is traditionally eaten or eaten at Easter.

    Easter fountains are adorned.
