Hajj (2)

The journey of the pilgrim starts from Mecca. Thulhijjah 8th , the day of irrigation, the pilgrim comes to Mecca and stays the night. At the dawn of Thulhijjah 9th, he moves to mount Arafa. Making supplication and duaa, combining the prayers of duhur and assar in advance and continuing to ask The Almighty what he wishes or wants. Before sunset, he must move from mount Arafa to Muzdalifa, another rite area where he combines Ishaa and Magrib prayers together and continues his supplication. Then he collects stones to be thrown at Satan later.

Thulhijjah 10th  at dawn, he continues  his journey to Mena where he performs the rest of the rites. This is the day of Eid Aladha, or the big feast. The pilgrim can slaughter his sacrifice and cut or shorten his hair. He can also go to  throw the stones at Satan. After this, he can take off his Ihram, but he is not allowed to touch his wife (have sexual intercourse)  or go hunting. After Ifadah Tawaf, the hajji can lie with his woman and go hunting if he wishes. On the third day at Mena, the pilgrim can make the goodbye Tawaf and go home. Hasty pilgrims can stay two days in Mena and perform the goodbye Tawaf and go back home.  Hajj is over. The pilgrim returns from his hajj clean with no sins at all.

  • Kunichiwa Jun Kumehara, Kancha! My Japanese is zero. I hope you be my friend and teach me some Japanese words and phrases. Thanks for your comment on hajj 2.

  • Hello.

    It's nice to meet you.

    My English isn't good enough.

    So I'm sill learning.

  • khaili mamnoon Zahra! I really like your good intervention.  Referring to the help of the mind to find the reason to accept trusting in God and accepting the holy Quraan.  First of all, who is God and what is Quraan? God is our creator and Quraan is his book or his words. In Surat Alahzab, verse 36, Allah said, ((It is not for a believer if Allah and his messenger have decreed a matter to have any option to do what they see in their decision, and whoever disobeys Allah and his messenger, he has indeed lost his way too far)). In worldly or earthly  matters, we can use our minds to reason, but things concern God, we have to obey, I guess you know that, too. Thanks again for your nice intervention.

  • Halet chetore Zahra? Wa khuda barkat dosste khobam. Mutaasifam! I asked Mr. Mishaikh to assist me in answering the members' questions about hajj. I do not use the computer every time. Some questions need immediate answers. That is why I told him to help me. And so far, he did his best, we ask Allah, The Almighty to let that work be on his scale on that Day. Dear Zahra, we hope that the two governments will reach some compromise soon, and the Iranian pilgrims will perform hajj  regularly as before.

  • Uu Risty Aven, ito ay isang obligasion kung ikaw ay magagawang. As my brother, Mishaikh stated below, you have to go to Mecca if you want to perform hajj or umrah. Thanks for your question.

  • Ningal ko walary nanni, Shoba. Thanks for your comment on Hajj 2.

  • No. Zahrah i can not accept your logic. It is satans misguiding looking for reason in Allahs demands to show our obeyance. I always surprized before going to hajj that why it is advised to recite sura akhlas and sira alkaferoon. But when i saw some of the rituals in hajj and umrah then i realized. Like safa marwah during which men has to walk faster and women with slow space where this was the woman the mother of ismael pbuh who actually walked faster in frustration looking for water.
Like tawaf around kaabah and kissing the stone .

Allhah says in sura akhlas that he is Bayniyaz - unique.
He asks us to recite alkaferoon and say to those who seeks reasons in his commandments that they have there ways and we have our own ways.
When we fall in love we never ask for the ressons why we have fallen in love so why reasoning in the love with our creator.
I was thinking lying on the hot road in Muzdalfah during hajj while there was garbage all around. I only said this is the way if you (allah) asks me so.
No reasoning because satan misguide us in teasoning and we do not have knowledge against his.
I can write pages and pages on this with the help allah. Let me conclude on this 'there is .no reasoning in the commandment of allah.

Try this in other fields of course.
  • @ Mishaikh when said:

Sarah I told you this because you asked for it other wise we Muslims do not seek for the reasoning in Allah's commandments. We just follow them.

Well, about seeking for the reasons beyond what God has asked us to do; it is not forbidden at all. With the help of mind we can find the reason to accept trusting in God and accepting the Holy Koran. And asking about the reasons is not always the same as opposing God. Even, when we know the reason of doing something, our trust becomes more sincere. Yet, we do not know all the reasons beyond God's sayings, and we may not understand them easily. But by trusting in God and trying to obey Him, He Himself opens the doors of wisdom towards us so that we can understand the true meanings of His saying.

Just wanted to say that our religion, Islam, does not want us to be blind and ask nothing. Instead it wants us to be wise while being obedient to the Almighty God.

    Peace.

    :)

  • PS- I recommend all my Muslims brothers and sisters to view our leader's message to Hajj pilgrims.

  • PS- We are not allowed to go to Hajj this year, because Saudis did not accept their crystal clear faults in their bad management. They did not accept to guarantee our pilgrims' safety!
