  • Nice explanation.
  • That is another good question Tara. Unfortunately that is not an easy one to answer.
The choice and use of different clubs, especially the irons, can only be determined by the ability of each golfer. For example. Julie might understand how to hit the golf ball properly before David. So naturally Julie will be able to hit the seven iron further than David.
You can teach each student what generally each club does but the proper use of each club has to be figured out by each golfer through playing on a golf course.
  • But when do we choose the seven iron?
  • Thanks Tara and Richard for the question on the seven iron. The seven iron is a club that is "in the middle of the road". It is not the hardest to use nor is it the easiest. A good club to learn "the basics" with. Lesson #3 will be on balance and will be posted soon.
    The Golf Guy.
  • What is the seven iron used for? I hope you are going to tell us soon Golf Guy! Thanks for the great combo lessons. English + Golf! Looking forward to #3.
