Fiction : Imagination into Reality

 

 

Chapter -1  Forlorn

Finally, I am in Dubai, a new place away from my hometown in a small village in Andhra Pradesh, but this isn’t easy for me. After a lot of struggle, hard work I am here, I did Btech I am today a Project Manager in a big Construction Company in Manama, Bahrain.

I was very diligent from my school days to reach my career goals. I had spent my life in hostel, I saw all boys looking around and after the girls, very few without gfs but me being a cowboy instincts that chasing  girls were a  crime, I believed the thoughts of girls in mind move you away from the books, and specific goals for life.

For years and years I kept the thought of viewing girls away from me. I am a very work dedicated person. I believe in working for more than normal working hours. According to me Work is worship, I am alone here in Dubai, with no one near I like working and working all the time…………though my parents are searching a would be for me, I told them I am very lonely here, but most of the Indian girls like to get settled down in the US and Australia than in Dubai. Even the girl’s parents too very prudent to let them marry in a country like Dubai. My parents are very social and happy being in India.  I have two bedroom apartments, good paying salary, but somewhere I am lonely in life.

Now, the feel of nostalgia environs me a lot.

  • It is interesting to read about an imaginary Indian man in Dubai. I will continue reading the next chapter, but I don't understand the last sentence here and the due of the word environs. I feel sure that you intended to use another word instead of environs. Maybe if you try a different word there I will understand it.
