Feeling sorry

I feel sorry when a learning platform is invaded by perverts, having the intention to learn and to know people around the world, it is really sad to chat with person whose the aim is to chat with girls and driving them to a video conversation just to talk dirty and show them bad things.
I feel sorry for EC, it is a nice place with nice people but those perverts can make it a bad place !!!
I have a message for those perverts: EC is for good intentions, and if you don't have the willing to change your bad behaviours you'd better go away !
Respect is your key to EC.

    Don't forget to report ALL abusive chatters, so that we can clear them out of our club.

    1. Take a screenshot of the chat box.  


    2.Click on the person's name in chat. This will take you to their profile page.

    3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and click on "Report Member".

    4. Provide a short line about the abusive behaviour.

    5. If you want to send me the screenshot, you can send it to my inbox.

    I am one of the victim, such things drove me away from the site for long but MyEC is a best side for learning ever i had seen, so had to back again. Actually i just cant stop accessing even through abused by them.When i realized it is better don't let me trap by perverts, i stopped to chat with personnel room & deleted such perverts from my skype. I knocked only them who are really great and make a blog here regularly.

    Thanks Laribi, Great salute for you who have a strong voice against the abuser.

    yeah "the worse thing is other member's silence", even "become the perverts friends". They are hypocrite. Always here, watching it, supporting it and arguing with it.

    I think your blog is good and I agree with you. Perverts are constant problems for any sites including MyEC. The sad thing is that these people work in private chats or other places like Skype, Facebook, etc after they approach members here, so the members who are being the victims they are the only ones who can help to notice the admins or moderators about the problems.

    So, I agree with May, one thing that makes this worsen is people's silences. I don't mean that you should tell everyone in the main room that X or Y is pervert. But, you can teach others how to protect themselves, how to make report or ignore when people abuse you, etc.

    I suggest that you take screenshots, upload them on free image hostings, copy the links of the image and send reports to the admin using this form http://my.englishclub.com/main/index/report. Don't forget to copy the URLs of the perverts and the links of the screenshots.

    Teach other female friends about these steps. And while you wait the reports to be processed, you can ignore/block these perverts from contacting you on MyEC. To block them on chat room, learn from the link above:

    There is option to block messages from specific people to your inbox as well. You can also unfriend them here.

    Oh yeah, some people think that it seems too many things to do to handle the perverts. And worse than that, they even become friends of these perverts.

    So, to them I write: if you "don't want to be anyone's police" if you find out your acquaintance here becomes one of those perverts, you can just stop to support his presence here.

    So, I agree with your approach here,write a message about what MyEC is created for.
