Mum said, 'okay'.

  • Good try, dear Adaline. You have described a scene that happens at our places in our everyday life. Simple and nice story. Thank you for sharing.

  •  Hi Adaline!  What a speedy response from you to answer the challenge!  Good job! :)

  • Well done! I enjoyed the story!

You should know how to punctuate 'quote structures' or 'direct speech' - don't omit the comma after or before 'she said or he said', and, if you put something like 'she said' after the direct speech, you put a comma in front of the second quotation mark, not a full stop, for example: 'I want to be a heroine,' announced Reena. I said, 'Is it mum?' 'I like your jacket, ' commented Elle.

Also, you should change the pronouns when you use reported/indirect speech, for example, 'Mum said I am (she was) going to make now, wait little bit please.'

    Hope you get it!
