The word EQUIPMENTS are widely used in India. The people think that EQUIPMENTS is the plural of EQUIPMENT. Actually EQUIPMENT is an uncountable noun. Namely, it has no plural form. No dictionary records EQUIPMENTS as the plural of EQUIPMENT.
