If I was an inventor, I would invent a magic fragrance. Astronauts would take a bottle of this fragrance into the outer space and they would inject it into our atmosphere. Of course, the fragrance wouldn't be dangerous for the atmosphere.

The magic of the fragrance is very simple.

It needs only one single injection and everythings changes.

The effect of the fragrance:

People speak one common language, no one knows what war is, no hunger, no thirst. But the earth will not be a land of milk and honey. Everyone has to take part.
Everyone knows he has to work for his prosperity. Education is duty and right at the same time. No violence against women or kids (and of course also not against men).
Everyone cares for environment and don't accept pollution.

I know it's just a dream and it sounds like pradise... almost impossible.
But ... let us dream!

  • Dear Danny, thanks for your corrections. I made again needless mistakes.

  • Dear Rose, here are my corrections. You know, you can always ask your questions.

If I were an inventor, I would invent a magic fragrance. Astronauts would take a bottle of this fragrance into the outer space and__ inject it into our atmosphere. Of course, the fragrance wouldn't be dangerous for the atmosphere.

The only one__ injection is needed to change everything_.

    The effect of the fragrance:

People speak one common language, no one knows what war is. There is no hunger, no thirst. But the earth will not be a land of milk and honey. Everyone has to work and to take part in the social life.
Everyone knows he has to work for his prosperity. Education is a duty and a right at the same time. There is no violence against women or kids (and of course also not against men).
Everyone cares for environment and doesn't pollute it.

I know it's just a dream and it sounds like paradise... almost impossible.
    But ... let us dream!

  • Thanks Shadow, dear Luci and Mary,

I am a dreamer but also a realist. I know no fragrance can change the world... unfortunately.

I know ... but I think also, such a dream is allowed. If we don't have dreams and visions anymore, we are dead.

  • If we are equal in nationality and culture it's like wearing an uniform

Yeah, that's what came to my mind when I read that line; like the opening scene in the movie Metropolis :)

Okay so you meant to make a society that behaves sensibly and emphatically by common 'instinct', as if it was in our genes. Maybe I'd call it just 'the language of empathy', and yes... It would be really great if the world could wear that 'perfume' you made.

    Thanks :)

  • It sounds too positive, Rose that I can't even imagine it! And do believe me my fantasy ain't that bad :D however yeah at least no wars pleaseeeeeee and no starving and dying kids...:( nice idea!
  • Nice to read. I think your writing shows about your good thinking & emotion. Thanks dear respected rose for sharing.
  • Dear Mary, you are right with many of your objections.

    Let me say following, please:
to speak only one common language doesn't mean only to use the same vocabulary. I myself know exactly what you mean when you speak about that learning a language is a healthy "brain training". I love learning English... just for example.

I think we can agree with each other when I say, we should speak the same "language" in terms of our behaviour. Of course, as you say, it would be boring and people would loose their identity. If we are equal in nationality and culture it's like wearing an uniform. We are not soldiers of our life.
I agree to say: difference isn't a limitation it's an enrichment.
It's only, if I see how people are focused only on their own traditions or religions and they don't respect the same right also for others, when I see all the hate, how they kill each other, how even children are abused to fight as Child soldiers .... I could count much more but I think, you know what I mean. And if it's the only way to unite the world in peace, then I think it might be better to give up some of our own rights, traditions and claims.
People fight in the name of wrong understanded national pride, greed for wealth, in the name of religions ... where and how can it find an end????

  • Uhm nice 'drug'.

But do you think is good to speak only one common language? To learn languages is a very good experience and a healthy 'brain training'... And languages are part of a culture. It's like saying to have just one common culture. Where is the diversity left then? We'd lose that??

  • Thanks AG

  • very nice.. it reflects the way you are actually :)

    Thanks for sharing :)
