Crazy Hectic Morning

Life is unpredictable. At times it plays with us, exactly like it played with me today in the morning. I guess some of you know I have two kids (7 years old boy and 4 years old girl), so our mornings are usually pretty hectic. If I am not too tired, I prepare as much as I can in the evening to avoid stress or some unexpected moments in the morning as we all are in a hurry. Today we woke up, kid's clothes were prepared, I made breakfast etc., to sum it up... everything went smoothly. However, yeah there is always some however! I bet you all know these situations like everything is going without problems and then BAANGGGGG in one second things turn to be out of control. So yeah guys... this was exactly one of these situations I was "lucky" to face.

We were about to leave and suddenly ooopsssss I found out my keys are not at place where they were supposed to be! Oh my gosh! First class panic! "Where the hell are they???" I thought... As if I were insane, I checked handbags, all the pockets, I checked all the possible even illogical places to find them but with the same result = NOTHING! Stress started controling me, so I screamed at kids who were already outside to go back! When they came, I was still cheking everything more and more like a psycho with knowing I will be late for work, when all of a sudden I heard my son saying: "Mom, Naty (my daughter) found them!" I turned back, saw her holding my keys and didn't believe my eyes. Yupeee, we can leave our flat and if we walk fast we won't be so late! On our way to the kindergarten I asked Naty, where did she find them...and she just replied: "In my kitchen set I play with." I was like...."WHATTTT????!!!!!" She added: "Yeah mom, I think you had to put them there." At this moment I didn't know, if I should kill her or start laughing! I knew that she hid them there but such lie made me speechless. Funny thing is that until now she hasn't admit it has been her (no idea after whom she is so stubborn :-D).
Anyway, we say here: "Everything bad is good for something!" and this situation made me think of purchasing a spare key of our flat! :D

  • Rose,
yes yes yes!!!! Only you know what such mornings are about and can understand it :D thanx a lot for stolping by ;)
  • Misha... haha yeah no wonder as all the houses look the same :D be happy you have such an attentive first lady ;)
  • Hahaha! So, your daughter is too stuborn to admit her fault! Well, I guess I know whom she takes after! Hahaha!

  • Hahaha Luci, I still remember that time when I had to bring my kids to the nursery school or care for them before they went to school. It was a hectic time. The short time in the morning needed organizing. Delays caused by the children destroyed often all our schedules.
Unfortunately, kids have their own idea of schedule. Their world is a playground.
Everything is game and fun. Sometimes I wished we had saved a little of this carelessness from our childhood to our world of adults. Later, when your kids are no longer little kids, will you miss the time, the hectic, the loud noises ... everything. Believe me!

  • I live here in Windsor Mill MD in an apartment.  Here are all the apartments are of similar type and shape inside/outside.  One day we came from shopping.  I got out of the car and went to the house to unlock the door.  "Where are you going?"  My wife called me. This is not our house.  If I tried to insert the key, the similar situation I would have to face as Luci did.  It happens sometimes.

  • Hahaaa it happened to us last year when we went to Prague :D we stayed in apartment there - it was a flat in big building...while returning back there from a tour around city, we put the key in the lock and were shocked how come it doesnt fit there! :D in few minutes a young guy opened the door and asked: "What do you want?"" Hahaaa we all were staribg at him including the kids and luckily he wan't any idiot and just told us... your apartment is nextdoor :D omggg it was so emberassinng... anyway... be happy that one neighbour wasn't at home!!! Omg to kick at their door :D
  • hehehehehehehe... if you call this hectic, then listen what happened to me just yesterday..

I returned from work very very very tired... I was having migraine and lacking sleep.. I was counting my steps literally just to reach home and have some sleep..

At the entrance of our building where we lived, I met my father along with two of our neighbors.. I greeted them, and then we rode the elevator..  our neighbor pressed the button 6 for us instead of the button 7, because he mistook what floor we were living... I noticed his mistake, so I pressed the button 7, and kept talking with him... he told a story which happened in our building just last Saturday... he said that one of the old neighbors who was living alone in his flat, was found dead in his apartment... he explained that he was missed at work. so his colleagues at work phoned the police to come and break into his flat and subsequently find him dead in his flat alone since two days before...

I was very touched by the story, especially because I knew that man, and because that the story happened in our building while we were totally unaware of it.. So, when the elevator reached our neighbor's floor, we greeted him and kept ascending...

I was discussing with my father how sad that story was, then the elevator stopped.. we went out of it, and walked the corridor to our apartment. I tried my keys on the door, but it seemed that my mother was inserting the key in the lock of the door from the opposite side... My father nodded that he left the home, while my mother was preparing to host some guests... we supposed that she didn't want us to break in the home and scare the guests... I knocked the doors and waited for her to answer... but it seemed that she didn't hear.. I knocked louder and waited... But again, she didn't answer... I started knocking louder and louder... and very early I started getting angrier... I had no idea why the hell she was not opening the door... I started kicking the doors louder along with my father... we were hitting and kicking and screaming... but without any answer from inside... then I noticed that the neighbors were peeping at us and wondering what was going on...

Here, I was very angry, tired, and insane... I tried to call my mother's cellular, but also it was closed.... Again, I hit the doors even louder, and I was seriously thinking about breaking it and going in... Again, I tried to calm down... I called my mother's cellular.. This time, it rang... I didn't wait her to say anything, before I screamed at her "Where the hell are you?? and why aren't you opening the door!!!!" She felt shocked... she went fast to check about the door, and I ended the call... I waited after that around 5 minutes... and even I was burning out of anger and resentment... I picked up my phone again.. and again I called her... And even this time, I was yelling like insane "Where the hell are you? and What are you doing??" she was very afraid and even I felt that she was about crying :(

She swore to God that she went out and checked the door but didn't find us on the door!!! I stopped here... I looked at the door where I was standing, knocking, hitting, breaking, and yelling... All at a sudden, I screamed at my father... What the hell !!!! we are knocking the door of the apartment in the 6th floor... exactly in the end of the corridor just where our apartment situated..

Me and my father were busy at talking, so we didn't notice that the elevator stopped at the 6th floor, so we went fast towards the wrong flat and all was going out of logic...

I suggested my father that we had to run away very fast, before anyone noticed us and killed us against what we had done...

I went up and saw my mother while she was crying because of my screaming at her :((

My heart was broken and I cursed myself thousand a time... Even I was not alone, both me and my father were totally blind for this huge mistake..

But Thank God, at least nobody caught us or killed us... or at least, let's see that till now, nobody asked or checked about what was going on....
