Last week, I traveled to Con Dao island with my family. It is such a beautiful heaven with a long, white beach; blue sea; majestic hill and moutain. Seafood there is so good and fresh. Air is fresh too, very cool and windy. In gereral, everything there is wonderfull.However, history there was very tragic. Over one hundred years, Con Dao was the huge grave which buried ten thousand bodies of Vietnamese soldiers in the wars. It was such a horrible number. In the war, Colonist imprisoned and persecuted, shooted Communist soldiers to death included the heroine Vo Thi Sau, hero Le Hong Phong. When I visited old prisions, I felt impressive and was grateful to soldiers who was laying under the cold ground in order to having the independence and peace today.Con Dao really was the hell in the past and become heaven at present.
