If one day God come in front you and told that you are going to die today. Also told " I will give you to option. First one I will give you happy mood and second will be sad mood".
Which one you select?
I will select first one because i want to be happy always. I am going to die any way, die in happy mood.
Second one also good one, but it indicates others mood in your body. They will be sad once you will go from this world. Being sad will not help you at all. It will put you down and down again.
So think you are going to die next moment and keep your mood positive. It will bring you again and again positive to you.

I will ask for both. Because you can't feel happiness if you have already not felt the sadness. Life is good with contrast. A picture with multi colors attracts more than a mono-colored picture.
