Be thankful to God as He blessed us with loving teachers and a mother.

A teacher is someone we are nothing without.We all have or had so many teachers in our lives,but there are only few teachers who mean the world to us.A teacher is a role model for a student.A teacher can make a student prosper.Its a big responsibility for a teacher to convey healthy and pure information to a student.Like a mother love teacher's love and care is also unconditional.A teacher want to see his/her student developed.Teacher is like a candle which burn itself to give light to students.Teachers are like our parents and we should respect them as we respect and love our parents.

No one is as noble or respectable as a teacher.Luckily we all have our first teacher as a mother.No one's love and sacrifice is compared to mother's love.There are so many similarities between a mother and a true teacher.They both are alike.They are always there to help us.They love to encourage us and want to see us blooming.We should be thankful to God as He blessed us with teachers and a mother.A mother and teacher's love can not be compared to others.

I am thankful to God as He gifted me with two mothers.A mother who gave me birth and a mother who made me what I am today.I am thankful to God He rewarded me with a teacher who loved me like her own child.I can't find words to praise her.

May God help and protect my teachers and my mother,and grant them happiness.Today we are here because of them.

I would like to quote here in incident which reflects HOW MUCH A TEACHER IS RESPECTED IN A CIVILIZED COUNTRY.

One of our writer/thinker Mr. Ashfaq Ahmed got a job in some European University to teach Urdu. Once he was challaned on traffic rule violation, and fined, which he could not pay in time so had to appear before court of law. The judge asked him why he did not pay the fine in time. He replied, "I am a teacher, first I did not violate the rule deliberately, it was my negligence, secondly because of my teaching responsibilities I could not have ample time to make the payment of fine."

Listening to that, the judge STOOD UP announcing, 'ALL RISE! A TEACHER IS IN THE COURT!', all the people present in the court rose up from their seats and the judge torn the ticket saying, "there is no need to make fine Sir!"

So you see how a teacher is respected:

Its an honorable profession.

I agree Anah, teachers made us what we are today. I think back on many wonderful teachers that I had. Like you, the list must start with my parents.

Teachers are like celebrities because they are known by their uniforms. It means, they can't escape from the eyes of the law if they did something wrong, hehehe! But of all the celebrities, teachers are enjoying a certain freedom to the max although we are not excused from those irritating tongues who spread malicious rumors out of disrespect, jealousy and ingratitude.

Everywhere you go, be you a teacher or of any profession, there will always be people who may point their fingers accusingly at you. Some people live by the habit of poking their noses at others' business. No matter how great is your achievement, there will always be some who will try to pull you down, laugh at your failure and morn over your success.

By the way, thank you Anah for this wonderful tribute. I guess you have been a very good student since you started schooling.
