Be contented with what you have
Forget which you couldn’t get
What doors have now for you closed,
Don’t get upon them dejected
Whatever in love you have wound
Never have gloom upon that
Companions what are the pain of heart
Accept them all as your fate.
These are the gatherings in your name
So be happy, dampen your eyes be let
This is a style of your beloved
Do not be discouraged
The bright light of hope is far away
Do not putout the lamp of night.

Thanks Roman for your explanation, it is in the context of the poem.
Yes Rose, we have to live with our all sorrows and glooms, so why not try to happily face and move one.
Thanks for your kind appreciation.
Hi Mishaikh!
As always I like your comparison and allegories.
And your advice is wise, and right! But sometimes in a fight (Hope versus Circumstances) within our heads, the second one overcomes. And that bright light is not visible...
Thank you for sharing!
It's a meaningful poem, Mishaikh. There are things we can't change, but there are things we can and should influence. We don't have to be just modest. We also have the right to happiness.
Thanks for sharing your thoughts with us.
Thanks bet for your comment.
Yes, we should not putout the light of night!
