  • All that shines is not Gold
  • Interesting post!
Yes, I agree with you, Forget-me-Not! Even though I'm not really a christian, I will celebrate the coming Christmas, too - eagerly and vigorously. The smell of Christmas is alreay in the air. You can't miss it. To the businessman, the more holidays there are, the more money they could make. We tend to spend or consume in holidays - We may purchase appliances, clothes, vegetables etc, not just buy gifts. So, it's not surprising when you see the Chinese are celebrating Christmas, Thanksgiving, while the Americans are enjoying the Chinese New Year. What's important is that they all have all the holidays - no matter what the holidays are.
I also agree that the priceless gift is love, not something you buy. I may not give any gifts to the one who I really love for the holiday - quite possible.
  • Dear Atika,
You're absolutly right. My village is the world and i've had the chance to meet and to live with people from different cultures. It opened my eyes and my heart and i can say now that i see the world differently.
Yes, you're my sister, now matter Christmas is not part of your concern.
Sending you much love over the borders.
