Pipi said that somebody who finds the stuff that turns up if only you look, of course. What else would it be? asked Pipi, sweeping all the flour on the floor into the pile. "The whole world is filled with things that are just waiting for someone to come along and find them, and just what a turnup stuffer does."What sort of things?" asked Annika.
"Oh, all sorts of things ." said Pipi "Gold nuggets and ostrich feathers and dead mice and rubber bands and tiny little grouse and that kind of thing."
"You always find something. But we will have to hurry up so the other turnupstuffers don't come first and take away all the gold nuggets and things that are waiting hereabouts."
What do you think is Pipi going to do with all these things she may find?
Will she fetch them at her house and decorate her room?
Will she give them to people who need them?

She was a kind of an influence when i was a kid. She was clever, funny, controversial, and very... let's say: 'rebellious' girl. A really pain in the ass for the adult's world (<- which was a metaphor of the system and what was 'socially acceptable')
