Every family has a problems but having a strong father is very important. My father is not that perfect who gave us luxury in life but he gave us wisdom and education.

When we were just a kids, we can have him only for a day or a week, because he was working as an army for 6 years or so.

The only thing I remembered he was very strict , jolly and sometimes naughty. My first gift I remembered he gave him to me was a mirror with a hello kitty. He said when I am lonely I can look at the mirror. Then a family computer way back in 90's, that me and my brother had enjoyed playing it together. When we were young at the age of 5-9 years old we used to go together to enjoy summer at the beach, taking some photos and going to the cinema watching movies and also boxing tv.

He gave up his Army job, to foresee any difficulties in our family, however he is one of a kind good listener but nothing change with his strict personality. He never leave us since I am in elementary until I finished college. He is always willing to help me and I can freely tell him any of my problems. When I am worried and far from home I just called him or text him then he will suggest or just listen to my problems.

He cooked us food sometimes, and we loved to watch sports in the TV together. Though we have some bad times I can freely tell him what I don't like, what I hate and I can express my problems too. I can't say were very closed because we also contradict with each other.

He keeps on telling me that I should not waste my resources and learn to give with others. The last time I remembered we walk together for a jogged is when I was 17 years old.

He used to be my tutor in math when I was only 11 years old in grade 6. But now he is already senior citizen, I don't know what to say but " Thanks For Everything". I will not put any rancor other things you couldn't provide. Giving up your rank or position, is the biggest decision you had made.

I know I made my father feel inferior about my remorse other wrong decisions made , but still he manage to accepts me.

I don't know how many years will I am still with my parents, the one I used to be with since childhood years, but whatever it is I am not deficit for my contributions at home from love, and assistance I shared to them is more than a penny.

Thanks for giving me time to feel I have a father, to feel I am sometimes important and sometimes I am wrong, thanks for my mother & father for showing us the world.

  • Thanks Alice E. I'll drop by on your blogs too.

  • Looking back we are thankful that our fathers were strict during our growing up years because looking at our life in the present shows us that it was all for the better.  Happy Father's day to your dad! :)

  • I guess that no matter how strict our father was, deep down we know that they love us and will always be there with us. Enjoy every seconds, every moments that you still have with your father. Once you lost him, there's no regret big enough to bring him back.

  • My father lost his father when he was two years old. He never felt his kindness instead he gas done his best for us. God bless your father and all fathers including my kids' father.:D thanks for sharing your nice post.
  • Thanks Tara. Ok

  • Thanks for writing this great post about your Father. It's funny how Hello Kitty has been around forever. One of the first gifts I remember receiving was a Hello Kitty notebook. I'll add this post to our Father's Day Writing Collection

Note: The vocabulary is useful too. I like how you linked to the Google entry. Please make sure to write dictionary entries in your own words (don't copy), or just share a link.
