In continuation of blog series under the title as captured above, I have written its part eight which is presented to those are interested in Pak-History.The barbarous government of congress was ended which awoke Indian Muslim from slumber and strengthened their idea for a separate home land where they could live and practise their culture, ideas, religious rites without being engaged in conflict with extremist Hindus. While rental Islamic scholars from Deo Band Darrul Uloom were anti partition. Nonetheless, famous Pakistan Resolution on 24 March 1940 was passed  in twenty seven annual session of Muslim League held under the presidentship of Quide-e-Azam, Muhammad Ali Jinnah in Iqbal park (old name Minto Park). In his presidential address, Mr. Muhammad Ali Jinnah said, "It has always been taken for granted mistakenly that the Mussalmans (Muslims) are a minority.....The Mussalmans are not a minority. The Mussalmans are a nation by any definition....what the unitary government of India for 150 years has failed to achieve can not be realized by the imposition of a central federal government....except by means of armed force.....The problem in India is not of an inter-communal character but manifestly of an international one, and it must be treated as such....The Hindus based mainly on conflicting ideas and conceptions......To yoke together two such nations under a single State, one as a numerical minority and the other as a majority, must lead to growing discontent and final destruction of any fabric that may be so built up for the government of such a State". From now onwards the Muslim League policy was clear. The blandishments of Gandhi for Muslims in his speeches  were to use the force of Indian Muslim against Britishers, but practically he was not interested in issues of Indian Muslim. Of which Mr. Jinnah foresaw since he resigned from the Congress 1918. The hypocrisy of  Congress leaders was exposed after their victory in Election 1937. Resultantly, those Indian Muslim, who supported the Congress in election 1937 recognized the hidden intention of Gandhi and rest Congress leaders and thereafter, paid no attention to such rental and fearful Islamic scholars, who always love to sit beside powerful elite and influential. They stood supporting the Muslim League with heart and soul. The outlook of Muhammad Ali Jinnah was like that of the Britishers. Therefore, the theologians of Madarsa e Deo Band and Ala Moudadi, founder of Jamat-Islami, didn't accept him as a leader of all Indian Muslims, knowing that the Christianity, which was the religion of the Britisher is closer to Islam as compared to Hinduism, whereas the sufis/saints who don't consider whatever appearance of the character of a person, but see the pious and sincere heart were strongly backing him in his efforts.( To be continued.......)

Anyway, the main stipulation was to write blogs on the causes of partition. I somehow did it. Thank you so much dear sister for reminding me and commenting on my blog.
