  Benjamin,
  I had the wonderful opportunity of visiting Peru. So far it is my favorite country to visit. The people were, indeed, friendly to visitors. Your country has much variety in its landscapes and the Andes are majestic. Your history is amazing and the airflight over the Nasca lines was impressive. Cusco and Macchu Picchu were so historic. I love Peru.

  Hi
  I am form Libya its located on northern Africa
  It has large area contains different geography.
  If you visit Libya you will be wonder how much it is beautiful there is along sea-board with smooth sands …. you are free playing your favorite sea sport or laying under the warm sun lights .at the eastern north you will find the green mountain with the most incredible sights where is the hugging between blue and green …at the western north there is western mountain it’s the opposite of the eastern one . the main color is earthy but you will surprise with freshness which give you feel as you didn’t breath before. and the main sight is the olive trees spread every where.
  the rested area is the desert (Sahara desert) the place of imagination, thinking ,spirit live ……. More details coming soon .

  Algeria.... oh! my love of Algeria is wide as its big area and even more...my country is a mixture of modern and ancient.It covers a huge place in Africa, the magical sight of the see in the north with its wild forests and the merveillous desert in the south.This contrast is not only noticed in the geografical position but also in culture.
  Algerian culture is like a multing pot you can find the Arabs, the Tamazight, the Touareg and the Mezab in the south.
  The population is generous friendly and helpful;we still have an old tradition called Twiza: if someone has a deal to do, for example to build, to marry .... all the people come for help..
  People from different places come to visit romain ruins and the sahara.
  The historical background reach of glories makes me proud to belong to that beloved country.
  Any man is free in his hometown cause there won't be freedom anywhere unless you feel it inside , under the sun of my country with love shared by people of the same country, the feeling of savety or security that's what makes anyone feels the freedom. Love each other and be free.

  I am from the USA. I love my country very much. I love it because of the opportunities I have had here and the freedoms we are allowed to have. But because we are encouraged to express our opinions freely, I also believe that to criticize our countries, even though we love them, is good. The best way to make our countries better is to look at both the good and the bad in our countries. To criticize them when it is needed is a good policy. So even though I love my country very much and will help protect it, I also lovingly point out its bad foreign policies at times, its love of money and things and at times, its lack of morality.
  I think patriotism is good for each country to survive, but I am starting to believe more and more in a global patriotism where we think of the needs of the whole world to help everybody. I am proud of the USA when it helps other countries financially or teaches them how to improve their technology and farming. I am not proud of the USA when it uses other countries for its own benefit. Does this make me less of a patriot? I don't think so; because I want to help make the USA a better country that values life, family, high morality and helping other countries in our global situation. We are a powerful country and need to use our resources for the good of the whole world. That is why I teach English to immigrants who come to the USA and I never charge money. Let’s all love our countries passionately and love the foreigners who come to our countries.

  Follow up....
  I think it's an excellent idea and we can create Discussion Forum as subgroups of this Group. I am going to try with: Latin America. I will write down about my Country PERU.
