Rice fields in winter

On the coasts of the Spanish Levant there are rice fields that are dry during the autumn and winter, at the beginning of summer, when the rice grows, there is a green mantle, and at the end of summer, when the ear is ripe, the mantle is golden.

  •    Hi Glee :) in KSA  we import rice from India  , which , I consider  so delicious  and most  people  use it to cook the main saudi  dish  " Kabsa "  there is another type  of rice used  which , is the Eygptain  rice  . I wonder how the Spanish  rice  taste :) 

  •      I didn't  know that rice is grown  in Spain   , this is totally   a new information  for me  and in the picture  that u have shared with us  the rice fields  behinds the cliffs  seem to be very spacious
