Dahlias in my back yard.

These I planted last spring. They just started blooming. The yellow one in the middle, called Kelvin Floodlight, is the largest flower but isn't fully open yet. It gets about 10 inches, 25.4 centimeters, across in size. These start blooming in early to mid June, kind of late this year because of spring weather, and bloom until hard frost in late October.
