This is Brighton beach. It was steps away from the IATEFL conference centre, so we had lunch and coffee breaks here. My hotel, "The Grande", is in the background. It was in a very convenient location! I recently learned that this is the hotel Margaret Thatcher was staying in when the IRS tried to assassinate her. She survived but a few others died. The hotel was reconstructed after the attack.
