What a biscuit means in US English. One on left is a good one; one on right had bad baking power so is not as "fluffy" as it should be.

  • Mr.  Bob   If you have an oven, they are easy to make.  The problem in Asia is so few places have ovens to bake.  

  • Quite the different thing than the cookies they call biscuits in so many other English speaking places. I would even be happy for a few of the ones that didn't rise so well right now.  Over here the Fried Chicken places (which shall remain nameless) give something more like a small hamburger bun calling it an American biscuit. Yuck!

  • Are you missing those biscuits? You can find biscuits like that in Japan?    :)
