I think it could be good - stimulates the brain. Like the muscles, the brain gets stronger with use. It might, temporarily, be bad for your Psyche - mental stability / depression but once you learn to channel those thoughts ....
Reading/learning something new might be considered as an exercise for the brain. It makes it stronger. I doubt that overthinking can stimulate anything. Well...unless you think about science. Otherwise, it has nothing to do with stimulating but exaggerating which in its turn leads to depression.
Personally, I believe Dara meant just "overthinking in everyday life" about things that we can't change. If it is so, then I go with Sewar....better sing than think. Though, I might be wrong.
Spasibo O. M! I really meant thinking a lot about everyday life problems and worries. It really ruins the brain. You and the respected lady, Sewar are right. Thanks for answering and giving these tips.
I agree with you, or ,simply, we find our minds at a complete loss for rotten ideas whether about the past or the present or the future. My friend, if you get a choice to think or to sing, I hope you sing. God bless you.
Nasal Allah alaafo wa alaafiya ya siti Sewar! Rotten ideas ruin the brain. The best choice is in between, I guess. Thank you Sewar for your nice and meaningful comments.
