A TRIP TO KNOW OUR GOD....

One day, I decided to make a trip. I thought that this trip should be the most amazing trip. I told myself that I should be accompanied by no body; I should be alone, "ALONE, ALONE, ALONE!" I said to myself. But this trip should be different; it should be useful for me and change the rest of my life. Yet, I have not decided where I shall go. I started to consider a place which is suitable for my amazing trip. I thought of going in a trip to the forests, the fields, mountains, or even deserts, but these places have been trodden before. I am seeking a unique place. I started to rethink while looking at my legs. I then started to shout: "It shall be there!". I meant my body. I started the trip from my legs. I knocked the doors asking for a permission to enter. I got it. The bones were straightly organized; each bone is connected to another forming a wonderful straight shape. While walking beside the bones, I was hit by a blush of blood that comes from above so as to feed my hungry bones and the rest of the leg parts. Quickly, the blood goes back to its kitchen promising my bones of another delicious meal some time later. "Who made such wonderful system? I asked myself. I went on my trip and followed the blood to the kitchen. It was the most amazing kitchen I have ever visited. There were vessels, pots, arteries, ladles, veins, spoons and some other tools. It was my heart which was so organized and systematic. "Who made such wonderful system? I asked myself. I went on my trip in the rest of my body parts to see the other systematic areas inside me. "Who made such wonderful systems? I asked myself. Now, I can answer myself. The Being who made all of this should be One Systematic Being whose power and ability are greater than the power and abilities of creating Me and My Body.

Successions are of many kinds like the birthright of the "first-born" as in Jewish law. Or the ascending of the eldest son or daughter to the kingly throne. Or by election, to select a candidate by the vote of the majority. Or Theologically, an appointment by Divine Decree of God's chosen Messengers. Like the call of Abraham, Moses, Jesus or Muhummed (May the Peace and Blessings of God be upon them all) who were appointed or "anointed"2 in consecration to their office.Muhummed's (pbuh) succession to Jesus Christ (pbuh) is multifaceted.1. Chronologically, in history as a sequence of event in time.2. By being Chosen3 by God.3. In the fulfilment of the prophecies of his predecessors, and but not in the least...4. By bringing the Guidance of God to perfection ' "For he will Guide you into all Truth." said. Jesus ChristHISTORICALLYThe Holy Prophet Moses preceded Jesus Christ (pbuh) by some 1300 years and Muhummed (pbuh) succeeded to that high office vacated by Jesus some six centuries later. It was the 12 of Rabi I., in the year of the Elephant, or the 29th of August 570 of the Christian Era1 that Muhummed the Praiseworthy, to whom all praise is due, was born in the sacred city of Makkah in pagan Arabia. His people the Quraish remembered the year of his birth as the "Era of the Elephant", because just two months before the birth of the child Abraha al-Ashram, the Abyssinian viceroy of Yemen had attacked the sacred sanctuary at Makkah at the head of his troops riding a huge African elephant. A terrifying sight never to be erased from their memory and a still more shocking end to the invasion — the miraculous destruction of Abraha and his army as recorded in Sura Fil or the Elephant —Seest thou not how thy Lord dealt with the Companions of the Elephant?Did He not make their treacherous plan go astray? And He sent against them flights of Birds,Striking them with stones of baked clay. Then did He make them like an empty field of stalks and straw,(of which the corn) has been eaten up(SURA FIL) Holy Quran 105:1-5GOD'S OWN STANDARDSGod Almighty chooses His Own Messengers, He uses His Own Standards although we may not always understand the wisdom of it. Paul cries the anomaly -For the Jews require a sign (miracles to convince) and the Greeks seek after wisdom:(HOLY BIBLE) I Corinthians 1: 22But worldly wise as Paul was, he found that his wisdom was "a stumbling-block" to the Jews and "foolishness" to the Greeks.God chose Moses (pbuh) a man who was a fugitive from justice and a stutterer. The Holy Bible calls him a man with "uncircumcised lips." (Exodus 6: 12).Despite his difficulties when commissioned to confront Pharaoh, the greatest tyrant of the age, Moses (pbuh) cries out to the God of Mercy —(Moses) said: "O my Lord! expand for me my breast;" 1Make my task easy for me;"And remove the impediment from my speech,"So that they may understand what I have to say:"And give me a Minister from my family,"Aaron, my brother; "Add to my strength through him, "And make him share my task:"That we may celebrate Thy praise without stint,"And remember Thee without stint:'For Thou art He that (ever) regardeth us. (God) said: "Granted is thy prayer, 0 Moses!"(SURA TA'HA) Holy Qur'an 20:25-561. Meaning – give me courage, make me bold.WHY "SUPPOSED"?Then comes Jesus (pbuh) who was chosen by God. According to Christian teachings, he was a carpenter and the son of a carpenter, with a dubious genealogy as recorded in the Gospels —And Jesus himself began to be about thirty years of age, being (as was supposed)1 the son of Joseph...(HOLY BIBLE) Luke 3: 25Acknowledged today by a thousand million Muslims that Jesus Christ (pbuh) was born miraculously — without any male intervention; the followers of Christ created two separate genealogies for a man who had no genealogy. Between the Gospels of Matthew and Luke they give this mighty Messenger of God sixty-six fathers and grandfathers. And of these two separate lists only one name is common to these two lists and that is of Joseph the Carpenter, who does not Fit in anywhere because, as Luke records above, he was only the "SUPPOSED" father of Jesus.EVEN BISHOPS DOUBTIn a "SHOCK SURVEY OF ANGLICAN BISHOPS" in June 1984 it was revealed that 31 of their 39 Bishops thought that "Christ's miracles, the virgin birth and the resurrection might not have happened exactly as described in the Bible."In deference to the Bishops of the Church of England (the "Anglicans") the Church of Scotland most respectfully omitted any reference to the "Virgin Birth" from its most recent publication "A STATEMENT OF FAITH." The topic of the miraculous conception of Jesus (pbuh) is getting increasingly hotter for Western Christianity to handle as you see here:AND GOD CHOSE JESUS (PBUH)Jesus Christ (pbuh) though spiritually rich in wisdom, light and truth; philosophised light-heartedly about the beggars of the world, when he said:There came unto him (Jesus) a woman having an albaster box of very precious ointment, and poured it on his head...But when his disciples saw it, they had indignation, saying, To what purpose is this waste? For this ointment might have been sold For much, and given to the poor.... he (Jesus) said unto them ... For ye have the poor always with you, but (poor) me ye have not always.(HOLY BIBLE) Matthew 26: 7-11But when destitution stared him in the face. When poverty, penury and need touched his own dear self; he cried pathetically:And Jesus saith unto him, The foxes have holes, and the birds of the air have nests; but the son of man (referring to himself) hath not where to lay his head.(HOLY BIBLE) Matthew 8: 20 also repeated in Luke 9: 58And yet God chose him (Jesus pbuh): Unique and inscrutable are Thy ways O Lord!M-U-S-T-A-F-A THE CHOSEN ONEIt is He Who sent amongst the unlettered a messenger from among themselves, to rehearse to them His Signs, to sanctify them, and to instruct them in Scripture and Wisdom, — although they had been, before, in manifest error;-(SURA JUMUA) Holy Qur'an 62: 2Amazing as it may seem, I am not amazed anymore! For this is His way — He chooses an Ummi 1 non-literate Prophet for an Ummi illiterate nation."a poor shepherd people, roaming unnoticed in its deserts since the creation of the world: a hero-prophet was sent down to them with a word they could believe: see, the unnoticed becomes world-notable, the small has grown world-great; within one century afterwards, arabia is at grenada (spain) on this hand, at delhi (india) on that; -glancing in valour and splendour and the light of genius, arabia shines through long ages over a great section of the world. belief is great, life-giving. the history of a nation becomes fruitful, soul elevating, great, so soon as it believes. these arabs, the man mahomet, and that one century, -is it not as if a spark had fallen, one spark, on a world of what seemed black unnoticeable sand; but lo, the sand proves explosive powder, blazes heaven high from delhi to grenada! i said, the great man was always as lightning out of heaven; the rest of men waited for him like fuel, and then they too would flame."Thus concluded the speech of Thomas Carlyle, one of the greatest thinkers of the past century. It was Friday, the 8th of May 1840. His theme — "The Hero as Prophet" His audience: were Anglicans — English Christians.1. UMMI: "Unlettered." "One other circumstance we must not forget: that he had no school-learning; of the thing we call school-learning; none at all." Thomas Carlyle in his "HEROES AND HERO-WORSHIP"THE CHOSEN PEOPLEGod chooses His Messengers and God chooses His People, In the realm of the Spirit no nation was as favoured as the Jews and yet Moses (pbuh) is made to bewail against his own people —Ye have been rebellious against the Lord from the day I knew you.(HOLY BIBLE) Deutronomy 9: 24In this last will and testament of Moses (pbuh) the Israelites frustrate their "meek and gentle" Messenger who is forced to rail against their continual stubborn resistance and arrogant attitudes to God's guidance —For I knew thy rebellion, and thy stiff neck: behold, while I am yet alive with you this day, ye have been rebellious against the lord; and how much more after my death?(HOLY BIBLE) Deutronomy 51:27Alas how true! I am not going to philosophise on God's choice. But in the very next chapter the fire of God's anger is kindled to a blaze and He decries the Jews -They have moved me to jealousy with that which is not God; they (the Jews) have provoked me to anger with their vanities: and I will move them to jealousy with those which are Not A People; I will provoke them to anger with a Foolish Nation.(HOLY BIBLE) Deutronomy 32:2111. Emphasis are mine.JEWS SUBSTITUTEDAnyone with a modicum of Scriptural knowledge will be able i guess who in the eyes of these arrogant, racist Jews is "not-a people" — a non-entity and "a foolish nation" if not the Ishmaelite cousins — the Arabs who in the words of Thomas Carlyle have been "ROAMING UNNOTICED IN ITS DESERT SINCE THE CREATION OF THE WORLD."!?THE ARABS. Alexander the Great passed them by: the Persian. passed them by; the Egyptians passed them by; and the Roman; passed them by. It would have been an absolute liability for any nation to conquer and colonise them. But the Creator did not pass them by. He picked them up from the depths of darkness and transformed them into torch-bearers of light and learning to the world. "I will move them "I will move them (the Jews) to Jealousy"1 This jealousy is a cultivated sickness. Remember, Sarah and Hagar the two wives of Abraham (pbuh) — the Friend of God. The jealousy of Sarah was bequeathed to her children and on to nations and tribes yet unborn.1. If the Romans or the Greeks had displaced the Jews as the "Chosen of God" then the envy would not have been as acute or as intolerable to the Jews. Not so long ago I read a book on the discovery of medicine written by a Jewish medical man. I can unfortunately not remember the name of the author and failed to retrace the book. However, the wordings of the tribute paid by this Jewish author to his Semetic (Arab) cousins have made an indelible impression on my mind. And I quote from memory:"GOATHERDS AND CAMEL DRIVERS SITTING ON THE THRONE OF THE CAESARS"Full of spite, venom and sarcasm, but how true! This is what God did and always does. He honours whom He wills. This is what He does to show His Mighty Hand (Power)?IT IS SURELY ONE OF THE GREATEST MIRACLES OF HISTORY THAT FROM THE BACKWATER OF ARABIA THERE SHOULD HAVE EXPLODED A GROUP OF MEN, COMPANIONS OF A PROPHET, WHO WITHIN THE SPACE OF A FEW BRIEF DECADES WERE ABLE TO CREATE A MAGNIFICENT CIVILISATION EXTENDING FROM THE PYRENEES TO THE GATES OF CHINAAbdul Wadod Shalabi in "Islam Religion of Life:"THE LAST WARNINGThe foregoing is the exact fulfilment of Jesus Christ's (pbuh), (the last of the great Jewish prophets) own prediction of the displacement of the Jewish race in the spiritual guidance of man. In the words of the Master himself —Therefore I say unto you (Jews), The Kingdom of God shall be taken away from you (Jews), and shall be given to a nation bringing forth the fruits thereof.(HOLY BIBLE) Matthew 21: 45 11. "Kingdom of God:" The honour, the privilege of being God’s chosen people to guide mankind – "Ye (Jews) shall be unto me (God Almighty) a kingdom of priests, and a holy nation." (Exodus 19:6) This grand commission ended with Jesus (pbuh).

Umar........I love you

Read the following blog to discover why I do love that ManWhen Islam appeared on the world stage, the world economy was based on slavery. Islam was the first religion to raise its voice against slavery. Among the early converts to Islam, many were slaves. Indeed one of the reasons for the hostility of the Quraish against Islam was that they saw in Islam a hostile force to slavery on which the economy of Mecca was based. When Umar became the Caliph of Islam, he took particular measures to eliminate the evils of slavery as far as possible. He took a very bold step when he declared that no Arab could be a slave. Arabia was thus the first country in the world, which under the impact of Islam abolished slavery. During the apostasy wars many Arabs had been taken captive and made slaves. Umar emancipated all such slaves.Umar also decreed that slave women who had borne a child to her master stood emancipated. The Holy Quran laid down:If you see good in them (slaves), make agreement with them."Umar implemented this injunction and laid down that a slave could make an agreement with the master that he would pay so much within the specified period to secure his freedom. Anas had a slave Sirin by name. The slave wanted to enter into an agreement with his master, but Anas refused. When the matter was reported to Umar, he made Anas enter into an agreement with his slave. In the matter of stipends allowed by the state, Umar made no distinction between the master and the slave. The slaves were given the stipends on the same scale as their masters.Umar issued orders that slaves could not be separated from their kindred. Under these orders the child was not to be separated from its mother. If there were two brothers it was obligatory that both of them should be purchased by one master.Umar was considerate that when some very highly placed person was taken captive, he should be ransomed and not kept as a slave. When in Syria the daughter of the emperor Heraclius was taken captive, she was returned to her father. When in the battle of Babylon, Armanusa the daughter of Maqauqas was taken captive she was returned to her father. In order to raise the status of slaves, Umar enjoined that the master should generally take meals with their slaves. Occasionally Umar invited slaves to dine with him. Umar said:"The curse of God be upon those who feel ashamed to sit to meals with slaves."Umar laid down that if a Muslim slave gave protection to a non-Muslim such protection was to be honored like the protection given by any other Muslim.Umar took pains to provide facilities to slaves to rise to position of importance in the State. During the caliphate of Umar Ikramah who came to be regarded as an Imam of Hadith was a slave. Nafi who was the teacher of Imam Malik was a slave. There were many other slaves who became eminent during the caliphate of Umar.

Hinduism and Islam

Let us examine the concept of God in these two major religions in light of their respective scriptures and study if there are similarities.First we shall discuss the Concept of God in Hinduism.COMMON CONCEPT OF GOD IN HINDUISM :If you ask some lay persons who are Hindus that how many gods do they believe in, some may say three, some may say thirty-three, some may say a thousand, while some may say thirty-three crores i.e. 330 million. But if you ask this question to a learned Hindu who is well versed with the Hindu Scriptures, he will reply that the Hindus should actually believe and worship only one God.DIFFERENCE BETWEEN ISLAM AND HINDUISM IS THAT OF ’S(Everything is ‘God’s’ – Everything is ‘God’)The major difference between the Hindu and the Muslim is that while the common Hindu believes in the philosophy of Pantheism, i.e. “everything is God, the Tree is God, the Sun is God, the Moon is God, the Snake is God, the Monkey is God, the Human Being is God”, all Muslims believe that “everything is God’s”.The Muslims believe that everything is God’s. GOD with an apostrophe’s’. Everything belongs to the one and only unique eternal God. The tree belongs to God, the sun belongs to God, the moon belongs to God, the snake belongs to God, monkey belongs to God, the human being belongs to God.Thus the major difference between the Hindus and the Muslims is the apostrophe ‘s’. The Hindu says, “everything is GOD”. The Muslim says, “everything is God’s”, GOD with an Apostrophe ‘s’. If we can solve the difference of the Apostrophe ‘s’, the Hindus and the Muslims will be united. The Glorious Qur’an says“Come to common terms as between us and you”,Which is the first term?“that we worship none but Allah”So let’s come to common terms by analyzing the scriptures of the Hindus and of the Muslims.UPANISHAD:Upanishads are one of the sacred Scriptures of the Hindus.Chandogya Upanishad Chapter 6 Section 2 verse 1“Ekam Evadvitiyam”“He is one only without a second.”(The Principal Upanishad by S. Radhakrishnan pg. 447 & 448)(Sacred Books of the East Volume 1, the Upanishads Part I Page 93)Shwetashvatara Upanishad Chapter 6 verse 9“Nacasya kascij janita na cadhipah”“Of Him there are neither parents nor Lord.”(The Principal Upanishad by S. Radhakrishnan pg. 745)(and in Sacred books of the East volume 15, the Upanishads Part II Page 263)Shwetashvatara Upanishad Chapter 4 verse 19“Na tasya pratima asti”“There is no likeness of Him”.(The Principal Upanishad by S. Radhakrishnan pg 736 & 737 )UPANISHAD:Upanishads are one of the sacred Scriptures of the Hindus.Chandogya Upanishad Chapter 6 Section 2 verse 1“Ekam Evadvitiyam”“He is one only without a second.”(The Principal Upanishad by S. Radhakrishnan pg 736 & 737 )BRAHMA SUTRA OF HINDU VEDANTAThe Brahma Sutra of Hindu Vedanta is:‘Ekam Brahm, dvitiya naste neh na naste kinchan”“Bhagwan ek hi hai dusara nahi hai, nahi hai, nahi hai, zara bhi nahi hai”.“There is only one God, not the second, not at all, not at all, not in the least bit”.All the above quoted verses and passages from Hindu Scriptures clearly amplify the Oneness and Uniqueness of Almighty God, the Creator of all. Furthermore, they negate the existence of any other deity besides the One True God. These verses essentially propound monotheism. Therefore only if one carefully studies the Hindu Scriptures, will one understand and realize the correct concept of God in Hinduism. The Qur’an too propounds monotheism. So you will find similarities between Hinduism and Islam even in the concept of God.SURAH IKHLAS WITH EXPLANATIONTranslationAs per Islam, the best and the most concise definition of God is given in Surah Ikhlas of the Glorious Qur’an:Say He is Allah,The One and Only;Allah, the Eternal, Absolute; He begets not,Nor is He begotten; And there is noneLike unto Him.(Al Qur’an 112:1-4)The word ‘assamad’ is difficult to translate. It means that absolute existence can be attributed only to Allah, all other existence being temporal or conditional. It also means Allah is not dependant on any person or thing but all persons and things are dependent on Him.It is the touch stone of TheologySurah Ikhlas i.e. Chapter 112 of the Glorious Qur’an is the touchstone of Theology. ‘Theo’ in Greek means God and ‘logy’ means study. Thus ‘Theology’ means study of God and Surah Ikhlas is the touchstone of the study of God.If you want to purchase or sell your gold jewellery, you would first evaluate it. Such an evaluation of gold jewellery is done by a goldsmith with the help of a touchstone. He rubs the gold jewellery on the touch stone and compares its colour with rubbing samples of gold. If it matches with 24 Karat gold he will tell that your jewellery is 24 Karat pure Gold. If it is not high quality pure Gold, he will tell you its value whether 22 Karats, 18 Karats or it may not be gold at all. It may be fake because all that glitters is not gold.Similarly Surah Ikhlas (Chapter 112 of the Qur’an) is the touchstone of theology, which can verify whether the deity that you worship is a true God or a false God. Thus, Surah Ikhlaas is a four-line definition of Almighty God according to the Qur’an. If any one claims to be, or is believed to be Almighty God satisfies this four-line definition, we Muslims will readily accept that deity as God. This Chapter of the Glorious Qur’an, Surah Ikhlas, is the acid test. It is the ‘Furqan’ or the criterion to judge between the one True God and false claimants to divinity. Hence, whichever deity any human on earth worships, if such a deity fulfills the criteria specified in this Chapter of the Qur’an, then this deity is worthy of worship and is the One True God.The blog is to be continued later...Joweria

It is said about Muhammad (PBUH) …..

Edward Gibbon and Simon Ocklay"It is not the propagation but the permanency of his religion that deserves our wonder, the same pure and perfect impression which he engraved at Mecca and Medina is preserved, after the revolutions of twelve centuries by the Indian, the African and the Turkish proselytes of the Koran...The Mahometans have uniformly withstood the temptation of reducing the object of their faith and devotion to a level with the senses and imagination of man. 'I believe in One God and Mahomet the Apostle of God', is the simple and invariable profession of Islam. The intellectual image of the Deity has never been degraded by any visible idol; the honors of the prophet have never transgressed the measure of human virtue, and his living precepts have restrained the gratitude of his disciples within the bounds of reason and religion."History of the Saracen Empire, London, 1870, p. 54:Wolfgang Goethe"He is a prophet and not a poet and therefore his Koran is to be seen as Divine Law and not as a book of a human being, made for education or entertainment."Noten und Abhandlungen zum Weststlichen Dvan, WA I, 7, 32George Bernard ShawIf a man like Muhammad were to assume the dictatorship of the modern world, he would succeed in solving its problems that would bring it the much needed peace and happinessThomas Carlyle"how one man single-handedly, could weld warring tribes and wandering Bedouins into a most powerful and civilized nation in less than two decades."Diwan Chand Sharma"Muhammad was the soul of kindness, and his influence was felt and never forgotten by those around him."D.C. A misconception about Islam

Many people have a misconception that Islam is a new religion that was formulated 1400 years ago, and that Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) was the founder of Islam. However, let me clarify that Islam is not the name of some unique religion presented for the first time by Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) who should, on that account be called the founder of Islam. The Qur’an states that Islam – the complete submission of man before his one and only Unique Creator – is the one and only faith and way of life consistently revealed by God to humankind from the very beginning. Noah, Solomon, David, Abraham, Moses, Isaac and Jesus (peace be upon them all) – prophets who appeared at different times and places – all propagated the same faith and conveyed the same message of Tawheed (Oneness of God), Risaalat (Prophethood) and Aakhirah (the Hereafter). These prophets of God were not founders of different religions to be named after them. They were each reiterating the message and faith of their predecessors. However, Muhammad (pbuh) was the last Prophet of God. God revived through him the same genuine faith which had been conveyed by all His Prophets. This original message was earlier corrupted and split into various religions by people of different ages, who indulged in interpolations and admixture. These alien elements were eliminated by God, and Islam – in its pure and original form – was transmitted to humankind through Prophet Muhammad (pbuh).Since there was to be no messenger after Muhammad (pbuh), the Book revealed to him (i.e. the Glorious Qur’an) was preserved word for word so that it should be a source of guidance for all times. Thus the religion of all the prophets was ‘total submission to God’s will’ and one word for that in the Arabic language is ‘Islam’. Abraham and Jesus (peace be upon them) too were Muslims, as Allah testifies in Al-Qur'an 3:67 and 3:52 respectively.

O Reader take a moral from here, never know your end may be near, Change your living and make amends, for Heaven, on your deeds depends. This is the tale of an Average Man,Who acts contrary to Allah's plan,If you are reflected herein,Then repent and commit no sin.It was early in the morning at four,When death knocked upon a bedroom door,"Who is there?" The sleeping one cried,"I am Izrael, Let me come inside. At once the man began to shiver,As one sweating in deadly fever,He shouted to his sleeping wife,"Don't let him take away my life.""Please go away, O Angel of Death!Leave me alone; I'm not ready yet,My family depends on me,Give me a chance, O please perpend!"The angel knocked again and again,"Friend! I'll take your life without a pain,It is your soul Allah requires,I come not with my own desire."Bewildered, the man began to cry,"O Angel, I'm so afraid to die,I'll give you gold and be your slave,Don't send me to the unlit grave.""Let me in, O Friend!" The Angel said,"Open the door; get up from your bed,If you do not allow me in,I will walk through it, like a Jinn."The man held a gun in his right hand,Ready to defy the Angel's stand,"I'll point my gun, towards your head,You dare come in; I'll shoot you dead."By now the Angel was in the room,Saying, "O Friend! Prepare for you doom,Foolish man, Angels never die,Put down your gun and do not sigh.""Why are you afraid! Tell me O man,To die according to Allah's plan?Come smile at me; do not be grim,Be Happy to return to Him.""O Angel! I bow my head in shame,I had no time to take Allah's name,From morning till dusk, I made my wealth,Never even caring for my health.""Allah's commands, I never obeyed,Nor five times a day, I ever prayed,A Ramadan came and a Ramadan went,But no time had I to repent.""The Hajj was already fard on me,But I would not part with my money,All charities, I did ignore,Taking usury more and more.""Sometimes I sipped my favorite wine,With flirting women I sat to dine,O Angel! I appeal to you,Spare my life for a year or two.""The Laws of Qur'an I will obey,I'll begin Salaat this very day,My Fast and Hajj, I will complete,And keep away from self-conceit.""I will refrain from usury,And give all my wealth to charity,Wine and wenches I will detest,Allah's oneness I will attest."We Angels do what Allah demands,We cannot go against His commands,Death is ordained for everyone,Father, mother, daughter or son.""I'm afraid, this moment is your last,Now be reminded, more of your past,I do understand your fears,But it is now too late for tears.""You lived in this world, two score and more,Never did you, your people adore,Your parents, you did not obey,Hungry beggars, you turned away.""Your two ill-gotten, female offspring's,In nightclubs, for livelihood they sing,Instead of making more Muslims,You made your children non-Muslims.""You ignored the Muezzin's Adhaan,Nor did you read the Holy Qur'an,Breaking promises all your life,Backbiting friends, and causing strife.""From hoarded goods, great profits you made,And your poor workers, you underpaid,Horses and cards were your leisure,Money-making was your pleasure.""You ate vitamins, and grew more fat,With the very sick, you never sat,A pint of blood, you never gave,Which could a little baby save.""O Human, you have done enough wrong,You bought good properties for a song,When the farmers appealed to you,You did not have mercy, this is true.""Paradise for you? I cannot tell,Undoubtedly you will dwell in hell,There is no time for you to repent,I'll take your soul for which I am sent."The ending however, is very sad,Eventually the man got very mad,With a cry, he jumped out of bed,And suddenly, he fell down dead.Wherever you are, death will find you out, even you are in towers built up strong and high! (Qur'an 4:78)

Peace Be UP On Him

You Must Know This ManYou may be an antheist or an agnostic; or you may belong to any of the religious denominations that exist in the world today. You may be a communist or a believer in democracy and freedom. No matter what you are, and no matter what your ideological and political beliefs, personal and social habits happen to be - you must still know this man.ENCYCLOPEDIA BRITANNICA confirms:"....a mass of detail in the early sources show that he was an honest and upright man who had gained the respect and loyalty of others who were like-wise honest and upright men." (Vol. 12)GEORGE BERNARD SHAW said about him:"He must be called the Saviour of Humanity. I believe that if a man like him were to assume the dictatorship of the modern world, he would succeed in solving its problems in a way that would bring it much needed peace and happiness." (THE GENUINE ISLAM, Singapore, Vol. 1, No. 8, 1936)He was by far the most remarkable man that ever set foot on this earth. He preached a religion, founded a state, built a nation, laid down a moral code, initiated numerous social and political reforms, established a powerful and dynamic society to practice and represent his teachings and completely revolutionized the worlds of human thought and behavior for all times to come. This is taken from:http://www.mohammad-pbuh.com/3/mustknow.htm

THE SPREAD OF A WORLD CREEDThe Times - Tuesday, 9th November 1993 -Home-news PageLucy Berrington finds the Muslim Faith is winning Western admirers despite hostile media coverage--------------------------------------------------------------------------------Unprecedented numbers of British people, nearly all of them women, are converting to Islam at a time of deep divisions within the Anglican and Catholic churches. The rate of conversions has prompted predictions that Islam will rapidly become an important religious force in this country.[1] "Within the next 20 years the number of British converts will equal or overtake the immigrant Muslim community that brought th e faith here", says Rose Kendrick, a religious education teacher at a Hull comprehensive and the author of a textbook guide to the Koran. She says: "Islam is as much a world faith as is Roman Catholicism. No one nationality claims it as its own". Islam i s also spreading fast on the continent and in America. The surge in conversions to Islam has taken place despite the negative image of the faith in the Western press. Indeed, the pace of conversions has accelerated since publicity over the Salman Rushdie affair, the Gulf War[2] and the plight of the Muslims in Bosnia. It is even more ironic that most British converts should be women, given the widespread view in the west that Islam treats women poorly. In the United States, women converts outnumber men by four to one, and in Britain make up the bulk of the es timated 10, 000 to 20, 000 converts, forming part of a Muslim community of 1 to 1.5 million. Many of Britains "New Muslims" are from middle-class backgrounds. They include Matthew Wilkinson, a former head boy of Eton who went on to Cambridge, and a son an d daughter of Lord Justice Scott, the judge heading the arms-to-Iraq enquiry.A small scale survey by the Islamic Foundation in Leicester suggests that most converts are aged 30 to 50. Younger muslims point to many conversions among students and highlight the intellectual thrust of Islam. "Muhammad" said, "The light of Islam will rise in the West" and I think that is what is happening in our day" says Aliya Haeri, an American-born psychologist who converted 15 years ago. She is a consultant to the Zahra Trust, a charity publishing spiritual literature and is one of Britain's promin ent Islamic speakers. She adds: "Western converts are coming to Islam with fresh eyes, without all the habits of the East, avoiding much of what is culturally wrong. The purest tradition is finding itself strongest in the West."[3]Some say the conversions are prompted by the rise of comparative religious education. The British media, offering what Muslims describe as a relentless bad press on all things Islamic, is also said to have helped. Westerners despairing of their own societ y - rising in crime, family breakdown, drugs and alcoholism[4] - have come to admire the discipline and security of Islam. Many converts are former Christians disillusioned by the uncertainty of the church and unhappy with the concept of the Trinity and d eification of Jesus.Quest of the Convert - Why Change?Other converts describe a search for a religious identity. Many had previously been practising Christians but found intellectual satisfaction in Islam. "I was a theology student and it was the academic argument that led to my conversion." Rose Kendrick, a religious education teacher and author, said she objected to the concept of the original sin: "Under Islam, the sins of the fathers aren't visited on the sons. The idea that God is not always forgiving is blasphemous to Muslims.Maimuna, 39, was raised as a High Anglican and confirmed at 15 at the peak of her religious devotion. "I was entranced by the ritual of the High Church and thought about taking the veil." Her crisis came when a prayer was not answered. She slammed the door on visiting vicars but travelled to convents for discussions with nuns. "My belief came back stronger, but not for the Church, the institution or the dogma." She researched every Christian denomination, plus Judaism, Buddhism and Krishna Consciousness, before turning to Islam. Many converts from Christianity reject the ecclesiastical heirarchy emphasising Muslims' direct relationship with God. They sense a lack of leadership in the Church of England and are suspicious of its apparent flexibility. "Muslims don't keep shifting their goal-posts ," says Huda Khattab, 28, author of The Muslim Woman's Handbook, published this year by Ta-Ha. She converted ten years ago while studying Arabic at university. "Christianity changes, like the way some have said pre-marital se is okay if its with the person you're going to marry. It seems so wishy-washy. Islam was constant about sex, about praying five times a day. The prayer makes you conscious of God all the time. You're continually touching base.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------Footnotes1 This is one of the reasons why there is an onslaught of bad press against Islam and the Muslims

Darwin , Let me Pray !

Don't interrupt me in my prayers and say that I am nothing but an evolution of some species .No , I am not so . I am a humanbeing which means that I am the best thing in the world . Your God ,the one your theory made is cruel and works against humanity . But my sole God is the Merciful and the Compassionate . He creates me and makes everything in that world to serve me . Trees give food when the plants grew . Landscapes offer to me some sort of relife . Animals give me the meat that my body needs to grow up . More than this is that He forgives me for every mistake I do make . I only have to pray to Him and confess the mistakes I made .My prayers are the medium of such confession , so LET ME PRAY !

Mary, the Mother of Jesus Christ

Mary is the daughter of Emrann , a religious man and Henna , a religious woman . Henna had suffered sertility for so long time and she was fully satisfied with God's fate . One day she saw a bird who was feeding her babies , she prayed to God to grant her a child . God had not let her down and she became pregnant . She promised to raise the baby as a monk. She gave birth to a girl baby , Mariam . The prophet , Zakaria had been responsible for her religious education . She grew up and became a religious young lady . One day she was delivered a message from God that she was going to give birth to a fatherless baby. Actually , she accepted the fate of God and became pregnant . Time passed and she gave birth to a sweet baby, Jesus . Her countrymen were astonished at the baby as they all knew that Mary was unmarried. The defence came from the baby who said that"I am God's prophet to you . ". Actually, the act of pregnancy without a male together with baby speaking act are more proves of the mighty and all ability of God. God creates Jesus in the same way He creates Adam from mud. In this sense God proves His ability to create a fatherless and a motherless humanbeing like Adam , a fatherless humanbeing like Jesus and fathered -mothered humanbeings like the other creatures.Joweria, the dove of Egypt

What Is Meant By "Islam" ?

Islam is the religion that is adopted by about one brilion muslims .The most important question is:Why that large number of people accepts Islam. Some people say that they adopt Islam because it doesnot differeniate between people(i.e, there is no racial segragation in Islam). The blacks,whites,Arabs,non-Arabs,or any other foreigners are all equal in front of God.Other people may see the goodness of Islam in its mediocrity.By mediocrity of Islam we mean that this religion will never ask you to do what you can not do.This so because God has made all the Islamic rules suitable for every humanbeing in His own universe.Leo Tolstoy, such agreat Russian writer, says that this religion will spread all over the world in the coming years .Actually, the more stick you are to these religious rules, the more comfortable you feel in your life. One of these rules asks you to respect other beings'lives and so you cannot be aMuslim and kill either your fellowmen orany other living things like cats ,dogs, elephants, etc.(except for hens ,rabbits,fish,etc.).This leads us to avery crucial issue concerning terrorism. There are some people who claim that Islam is aterrorist religion that asks people to kill the non-Muslims.To think of this claim as atruth means that we lack objectivity. This is so because Islam asks you to love every humanbeing in the world ,even those who adopt adifferent religion;in order to have atrue faith in God.(the topic will be continued later)Joweria,
