Barra do Corda is a small town located in the middle of the State of Maranhão. It has two rivers: Corda and Mearim. They join themselves in the middle of the town, where there are some bars. Here there are waterfalls, too.

Carnival here is very joyfull and peaceful. Many people from many parts of the coutry comes to here. In february Barra do Corda is full of tourists. I like very much my town.
