Palestine is my Steadfast Homeland

I was born in Nazareth, Israel. My grandpa said it was called Palestine before 1948 when another people came to our land and confiscate our lands. So I grow up thinking that I'm an Arab Palestinian citizen living in Israel. But, how do I have a blue passport? Which means that I'm an Israeli citizen I'm one person out of 20% Israeli Arabs. I live in Israel in a country which declared itself as a Jew country rather than a country for all its citizens. I live here but when I ride the bus with other Jews from the army my heart hurts when I think that some of those people grew to hate Arabs and to kill my people in Gaza. However I have many Jewish leftists' friends which believe in the Palestinians rights to live in peace in their own land.

Every day I wake up saying I love my homeland I love my people I love peace I love humanity I'm done with hate and killing, I'm disgusted from the international media blackout regard Palestine-why do the BBC and other western media use the word killed to describe a Jew and the word died to describe an Arab Palestinian is that justice? Where is the world? Where is the humanity in each person when you see peoples suffer and you just continue your life without any demonstrations thinking about your people, family and friends? I'm telling you this you are selfish in my opinion.

Sometimes, I think about going to a new place like U.K or U.S to complete my master degree in international relations for one or two years but I can't imagine my life away from my country I'm loyal to Palestine my homeland I'm very patriotic I love other places in the word I have friends from all over the world which I'm pretty sure that I will visit them and they will visit me in the new independent states of Palestine one day :)
